This place is clearly one of the coolest place in the region. Whenever I visit this place I am so satisfied. They preserve their very high level service and the highest level of cooking they serve. You will be always satisfied with this place. Warmly recommended.

It's a nice cozy place with a friendly staff. Music is quiet, there is a lot of free space to spend time alone or with a company. And the most important thing for me - they have my favorite Japanese beer - Asahi. Prices are quite affordable for the area, so have an amazing experience here.

Good spot for a comforting bowl of ramen or a few perfectly broiled skewers.

Japanese tapas is what you'll find at this Japanese bar & restaurant. I sampled a large variety of dishes which were all delicious except the octopus because well, I don't do octopus. With a half dozen beers on tap this is a good place to drink while enjoying well crafted food. Good for dates.

Amazingly friendly staff. Wonderful owner. Great atmosphere. The food is absolutely amazing. My girlfriend and I love it there.

Fantastic service, the sake was great and the bartenders was very knowledgeable. Looking forward to coming back soon. Great atmosphere to bring someone to. Bartender explained it as Japanese pub food. Great experience all around.

Early Saturday evening it's weird that a restaurant would already have run out of several menu items, but this is what happened when we dined at Izakaya Mita. Literally six dishes we selected were not available because the kitchen had run out of ingredients. It's been a couple months since the place appeared on "Check, Please!" and we thought they'd have regulated their procurement by now to accommodate the regular increase in diners; we were wrong. The dishes we did get served were good; I especially liked the skewer of beef tenderloin and the fried chicken. But servings were really quite small, even with the understanding that the restaurant serves small plates, and not inexpensive. Service was friendly and apologetic. They have a good selection of sakes.

Service was horrible. Was there over 1.5 hours and the waitress had to come back and ask what we had ordered. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Definitely won't be back.

Deliciously prepared izakaya fare.The Saba was outstanding. Takoyaki are some of my favourite in the city. You can’t go wrong by just trying things from all areas of the menu.

Gem of a restaurant with a fantastic staff who care about food and people. They have vegan ramen on the menu and understand about food allergies as well. The vegan ramen was delicious and fresh! Can't reccomend it enough. (I ordered mine with extra noodles!)

My favorite Japanese restaurant in the city by far! Best sake list hands down, when it come to price, taste, and the staff is usually amazing. Never had a bad experience, the owners are active and really care about the guest experience. The food is authentic, delicious, and always right.If you haven't been here, I don't know what your problem is. Go there, now. Why aren't you there yet? That's how great they are, and definitely get their cheesecake for desert, I don't eat a lot of sweets but the green tea cheesecake is so amazing. 10/10 would go back, and tell my friends about this place all the time,.

Classic, truly authentic Japanese cuisine! A neighborhood favorite for sure!

Do yourself a favor and order the mushrooms in the brown sauce; they are delectable! Flavorful food and friendly staff. I will definitely return.
