Food is ok, and you feel like having Japanese in western land.

Outstanding food. Not the best value for money and one of the only places we have been to in Japan where a tip was expected.

Really good especially the sushis plus they have a pick up service from your hotel to the restaurant

An absolute delight

Izikaya Kaz was a fantastic hot pot experience in the heart of Hakuba. The night I attended we booked a table in advanced and were seated immediately on arrival. Our group had a mix of hot pot eaters and people who wanted to order off the ala carte menu, both groups were accommodated fantastically. The meal was phenomenal and everyone left full and satisfied. It was a little more expensive than expected, but it is also expected that the prices will be higher in a ski village. If you're in Hakuba and with a group of friends, I would highly recommend Izakaya Kaz. And please, enjoy a few Hakuba pale ales with your meal!.

First of the food was sublime for an reasonable price.

Expensive! The restaurant is aimed at foreigners who are new to Japanese cuisine.The price for the set is 3500 yen, nothing special, have not eaten up.

Not just the usual izakaya food Also has decent sashimi, tempura, sukiyaki, shabu shabu, teppanyaki, wine. Beer and sake of course. Quick service. Ok prices. Takes reservations.

Ski resort type restaurant... busy evenings and reasonable food, little bit pricey thought...
