Busy place! But the staff was good! I had to wait 20+ min for my food but they did process 20-30 orders in that time. It was impressive and the staff worked well together! We had a large family order that was to go. The order was correct plenty of sauce and napkins. Oh! the food was delicious! Highly recommend the bread bowl full of chowder! Excellent fish and chips too!!!

I've been to several Ivar's restaurant around Seattle area, this joint has the best service so far. The serve is nice and very courteous. I definitely will come back for more chowder and keep clam.

It’s our favorite restaurant in Seattle. There are many Ivars restaurant in the city in important locations. So try the taste of fish and chips in any of the Ivars restaurant.

We had a great lunch here today! I got the 3 piece Cod (no chips), my mom got the Clams and chips. They brought out our order, and it turned out they didn't ring up the Clams, so the server brought it out to us at no charge! (The reason we didn't notice was that the prices are really high to begin with, hence the 4 stars) Then, there was a hornet on the window by our seat and the server didn't hesitate taking care of it for us. Really friendly staff and good food. It's just really expensive for what you get (2 sodas were almost $6.00). And the floor was super dirty (not a big deal). Overall I would recommend.

Staff was friendly and moved quickly! Fish was awesome as usual and the salmon chowder was delicious. The salmon blt was a bit fishy so probably not a repeat. Fried oysters are ALWAYS awesome here.

Didn't know they are selling Pollack for the fish. The cashier should have told me. Make sure and ask for the cod. It's a little more but much better. The Pollack has no flavor ☹️

They have a great ceasar salad! The fish and chips were good like usual. They are lightly breaded with soft flakey fish. The kids mac n cheese was weird, strange cheese for my kiddo. Clam chowder is always good. It's creamy and decadent with the right amount clams, potato and veggies.

Always great, fast, friendly service. Panko fish and Caesar salad delicious. Extra fish was made cuz the two piece was smaller than usual. Mints and wipes handed out. Very clean! Thank you---

Fish and chowder are good but also a bit pricey.

Not a fancy place, but clean. Iconic Seattle seafood bar. The seafood is very fresh, cooked properly to maintain natural moisture. We had the salmon plattter. The salmon is wild caught, not farmed. The salmon portion is generous and prepared well--ss well as at nice restaurants. It is a great place to go for well-prepared fresh seafood. The clam chowder is excellent.

The chowder is a classic worth getting whenever you are in the area or mood. Bringing out an andes chocolate mint after we ate was a really nice touch. I dont normally think of this place as having great service but they nailed it this morning.

The restaurant was clean the fish was quite good the chowder was excellent. I ordered the cod fish and chips. Coming from the south cold water fish is a real treat. The meal was well-prepared and hot. I definitely recommend.

Ivars is so very tasty! So glad I didn't have to go to downtown Seattle to get some.

In the mid-west, you don’t get the fresh fish like you get in Seattle. I make a point of getting some of the spicy cajun cod every time I come back for a visit. Nice to see scallops on the menu now, next on my list to try!
