I have been wanting to order Oysters on line from Island Creek Oyster shop for some time.I live in Shoreham VT and it is very hard to find fresh Oysters in my area.A small store in Orwell VT,Buxtons Store now care your Oysters fresh every Friday.I purchased some today and they are the best tasting Oysters that I have tasted since we visited Florida's pan handle.They are just as good and even better than Oysters from the Gulf.

Do not order their 100+ bags as gifts. The oysters are the size of a dime! Not worth the effort at all. The big and good size ones are sent to restaurants and big clientele, while the super salty, super tiny ones are disposed of through their site. Beware. Got stung twice.
