Service was fast . There was a long line but moved quickly. Pastries aren't bad . There was nothing that stood out for me to brag about but I didn't try it all !! My advice if your in the neighborhood, stop on by, Give it a try then you decide😊

We’ve been coming here for years from Northern, VA! All of my family is from Westchester, NY so we grew up on Arthur Ave and have been to every “best bakery” from DC to Boston and still feel everything Isgro makes is the best! Try their Napoleon for a thin layer of raspberry I haven’t had anywhere else, or their Marscapone Eclair for a very different take on the classic that they also do so well

I have been going to Isgro’s for decades. Enjoy all their wonderful desserts, and especially the filled Italian cookies and The best ricotta cookies I have ever eaten. The ricotta pie at Easter is delicious and the best cannoli’s in the city.

If I can I always try to fit a visit to Isgro into my visit to Philly. The cannoli are king here and absolutely delicious and I think the best in town. The pastries, torrone, cakes and cookies are to die for. You walk in and smell the butter. The ladies are a little tough but they know what they're talking about. A must visit if you're in the Italian Market area.

I was afraid to go to this place hearing about the rude lady behind the counter but experience was to the contrary! Very friendly people and good desserts. Loved the lemon cake which was not overpoweringly lemony at all! The cannoli was the best. Smooth Ricotta filling and crunchy outsides! Pear tart was light and flavorful!! :)

Was heading up to Philly to visit some friends and someone mentioned this place to get some great Italian pastries. This place did not disappoint either. Everything I had from the Lemoncello cake to the Torrone was so amazing. The folks who work here were so wonderful and friendly, they made you feel like you are part of the family. If only I lived closer to this place I would try it all.

Best of Philly institution for authentic Italian pastries. Since 1901, it has been the go-to bakery in the Italian Market for cannolis, butter cookies, pizzelles, elephant ears and much more. It gets crazy around the holidays, so service can be hurried/harried, and parking close is a challenge. But, it’s all worth it when you want to indulge yourself or share luscious treats.

Great pastries, but the ricotta cookies are the very best

Thanks . I'll do that .

Di Bruno's around the corner on 9th Street. There are a few places and they are all very high quality.

Expensive.. but there's none better! Worth every dollar!

Around $ 4.00 but not sure exactly.
