The food is excellent! They take traditional Mexican dishes and put a spin on them making them taste out of this world. All of their guacamole’s are incredible, as are their tacos. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable too. There’s just enough food on the menu so you don’t feel limited but it doesn’t feel overwhelming. They have some of the best tacos in Ann Arbor

Went to Isalita for their Tuesday bar happy hour and it was amazing! The frozen blood orange marg was delicious, it is their signature drink and would highly recommend. They had $2 tacos (options: chicken tinga, beef, carnitas, and cauliflower) hands down the best cauliflower tacos ever - so flavorful, every bite gave you an explosion of wonderful flavors. Staff was friendly! Will definitely be returning!

Isalita is one of the best taco places in town. It's also known for its flavoured margheritas. The ambiance is nice and the pricing is good for a night out. Delicious vegetarian/vegan options are available too.

Macho Nachos are delicious! Happy Hour specials every night but Thursday nights the nachos are $5! So worth it! Authentic chips NOT bulk corn chips that you get from some Mexican restaurants in the area, flavorful black beans, chewy cheese & a little kick from the jalapenos! Blood Orange margarita are good too...better than original flavor. This will be a regular "go to" spot.

The food was great. Just hope they offer in larger quantity.

Restaurant week brunch menu: one appetizer and three tacos for $18. Tuna tostada tastes good but the portion is really small. The al pastor tacos are too sweet for my taste. I’ll maybe come back to try something more traditional, like a fish taco, to see how I like it

Wandered in off of the street, wasn't expecting much- but wow! Had the happy hour nachos and they were so good! Not your typical cheap nachos at all. Our server Liam was great, definitely added to the experience. Will absolutely be back!Update- went back to check our their Tuesday Happy Hour. The service you receive makes all the difference. Our server was very dismissive, and we did not enjoy the experience anywhere near as much. Food was still delicious, but the tacos and frozen cocktail were both so small. I would have been disappointed had we paid full price for either one. First experience was great, second not so much.

I went here for lunch with my group. The service was pretty good and explained the menu. We had the plantains as an appetizer and it was fantastic. My quesadilla was cooked well and the person I was there with couldn't stop talking about how good their burrito bowl was. Highly recommend

Woah. I have been traveling to find some of the best Mexican food in and around southeast Michigan and am disappointed most of the time. However, this place has fantastic food and the margaritas were great too. Highly recommend going here for a good meal and drink.

Great place for Mexican food with a modern American twist. Salsas are alive with flavors — Smokey, tangy, sweet and hot. Milder option is available. Moderately pricey, though portion size is generous. Expect a wait when you’re ready for dinner, not too bad at lunch though. The painted murals throughout (I pictured a couple in the basement) add nice ambiance.

Awesome happy hour deals. Yummy beverages, delicious food and great service. The bartender rocked it out with great suggestions, knowledge of GF choices, a great attitude and bomb service. Thank you for making a spontaneous night out a blast for us! Well definitely be back.
