Isabella's Italian Trattoria

First time. Having moved to the area, we have been looking for a classy restaurant with great food. We found it. Isabella staff were friendly, the lobster bisque was the best I have ever had and the pecan pie was absolutely delicious. We’ll we back!

The food was excellent!! Waitress was very attentive and the atmosphere is above average. It is a nice place with good ambiance!!

We wanted a nice place for a family celebration. We found that we now have a great place that we will eat OFTEN. We started off with risotta balls. There are three (and there were three of us) and it was perfect. Great marinara sauce!!My wife had the butternut squash ravioli and it was fantastic. Such a nice sauce and great taste.My daughter had the sirloin medallion and it was cooked just the way she wanted. I had the blackened salmon, which was a special, and pictured. Really wonderful tastes. We finished with each having a cannoli. So nice, light, and little. Great dessert. Ruth was THE best, and highly recommend requesting her, although I'm sure the others are great as well.We love this area, and having a special place is important to our family. We really enjoyed this!!

Went here for a business luncheon. The atmosphere and food were fine, but nothing extraordinary in my opinion. My biggest complaint is the menu seemed limited in variety and overpriced. The service was friendly and my meal was ok (though not worthy of the price, in my opinion). The fried risotto appetizer was intriguing! I liked it, but not enough to make me want to be a regular.

Food is good if not a little overpriced. Drinks were fine. Staff was attentive. I thought the service was a little slow (they were not busy the night I was there). Very flexible and accommodating for the unplanned couple that joined us late in the meal.

From when we stepped in to when we left, the visit here was exemplary. First, the service was great, and the staff we were engaged with was very friendly. Second, was the food. Excellent. I enjoyed every aspect of the meal, including the great company. I absolutely will return at some point!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town, especially for Sunday brunch. Josh is the best bartender around, for drinks and witty banter.

Asked for a quiet table andwewere shown to a good one away from the noisy bar. Waiteris Ruthy. She was perfect. Helpful with descriptions of food of our interest. Small wine was tasted by my wife and deemed good. Fullglass followed. Both meal selection were prepared well for the eyes and the stomach. Menu items were fairly priced I thought. The bill is always a little surprising when you have bar services. We will be going back soon.

We had a delicious takeout meal tonight due to the virus. Dinner was fantastic. It was hot and perfect for the two of us. Thank you Isabella’s for providing this service.

I'll be honest. The service was great. The staff are generally friendly and helpful. You can tell these people want to do well, but the food, in my experience, was very lacking. I couldn't even eat it. Pro tip: Avoid the tomato basil pasta.

Very good food but not cheap, what makes this place great is the nice staff. The lady who waited on us was very kind and patient with us. She took her time to explain how the daily specials work. I got lasagna and it was great.

Isabella's has been our go to restaurant for fine dining for many years now, from their time in what is now a parking lot for the Wal-Mart on Old Forest Road to their current location in Boonsboro. They don't disappoint. Not pretentious or trendy, just excellent food, drink, and service in a comfortable setting.
