Superb dining experience. Each dish comes with a unique story. Everything was artistically presented and the staff were very attentive would definitely recommend this. If you want to try some fusion vegetable surprise dishes then this is the place to be. No set menu.

Interesting experience only if you’ve never been to the “original” thing De Kas does the now classic modern Scandinavian “we grow our own produce, here’s 4 textures of the same ingredient” in one dish thing. And yes the ingredients are fresh and some of combinations interesting (they tried to sell pumpkin and shrimp as original but mushroom dishes were interesting and inventive). But you can’t go playing with ingredients and charging these prices if your basics are not right: béarnaise was way too acidic, pork chewy, oysters drowning in sauce so much you can’t taste the oyster etc.

Really great and beautifully plated food without the pretension. Five, six, seven or eight course tasting menu made from freshly grown produce. The entire establishment is a beautiful greenhouse with a dining room, bar and an adjacent garden. If you love artfully plated dishes with unusual layered flavors, you will love this. Price of dinner was very reasonable: five course dinner with one cocktail each plus a bottle of wine was only 85€ per person.

Some dining experience. Good service and fine cuisine. Their wine too was good. We had a vegetarian couple who were just delighted with the fresh cheese and food. Would visit again if we can manage a reservation at short notice.

Amazing food, each dish was fantastic. The service was perfect too. Casually working our way through the 5 course set menu. Ot was also great to see the green house where the food is grown.

The location, atmosphere and service were AMAZING. We did the 4 course meal (including dessert) for lunch service. The food kept building flavor and texture. I could t pick a favorite as each was phenomenal on its own. Amazing wine list and beer options. If you have the chance to go— DO IT. Their farm to plate is perfectly executed. Your taste buds will not be disappointed.

The food here is the best! I would never have expected healthy food to taste so rich. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable, introducing each course with informative tidbits. Also, despite the prix fixe offering, the restaurant was incredibly accommodating with our party's dietary quirks!

Fabulous slow food experience. Wonderful ambiance and menu. Sunset was a perfect time to arrive to take in the garden view and watch the greenhouse transform into colorful magic.

Home-grown ingredients in delicious creative dishes. Book far in advance as it tends to be super busy. Worth the wait though ;)Set 5-6 course menu which changes regularly, so any photos you see take only as indication of kitchen style. What you might get with what's available when you're there could be totally different.Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Wow, just wow. This must be one of the best dining experiences in Amsterdam! The restaurant looks absolutely stunning, the food was as beautiful as it was delicious and the service was friendly and on fleek! While you'll have to dive a little deeper in your wallet than average in this city this place is absolutely worth the euros.Perfectly suitable for vegetarians, as the focus of the dishes are on home grown veggies!

One of my favorite restaurants in amsterdam. A fixed menu which truly amazes even if u can't really choose. Their chefs are crafters of mindblowing cuisine to a very affordable price. The setting of the dining is just adorable as you can even walk into the greenhouse from which they take some of the nights menu ingredients. A-must-go place !

We ate at de Kas a few days ago as we were flying home and had an evening in Amsterdam. Getting out of our Uber and seeing the glowing greenhouse out in the Park was beautiful! Are we in the right place??? Yes! The restaurant is beautiful, an old greenhouse refurbished with lovely glasswork hanging above and an exposed kitchen. A little of the produce is grown onsite, but most at their farm some distance away. The menu follows a tasting format and changes weekly to reflect what is coming in from the farm. Siegfried, our waiter, was a delight and we loved the way each course was explained to us.

The place is located inside a lovely glass greenhouse. It's a big greenhouse, where they grow vegetables (as far as I know, some of them are used in the dishes). Food was amazing and unique. The atmosphere and service were excellent as well. The only thing I cannot comment on is the price, but the area is very commendable.

Excellent food which is beautifully presented. The service is attentive and each course is described to you. I love the focus on sustainable food, with local wines and produce.
