Inka Grill Peruvian Cuisine

I wanted to love this place so badly. Unfortunately every time I have gone I've left questioning if I should ever go back. Last time I called in an order and they told me 30-40 minutes. I left my house after 45 minutes got there and they said another 10-15. I went home, waited 20 minutes then when I got there they said just a minute and I waited 25 more before it was ready. What was supposed to be a 30-40 minutes wait ended up at more than 80 minutes for some chicken, rice, and beans. Previously, I had a similar thing happen when I was dining in. We had ordered our appetizers and it took 30 minutes for them to arrive and they were cold when we finally got them. We then waited another 50 minutes before we got our main course. They are just too inconsistent to take a risk on at this point.

The Inka Grill in The Patrick Henry Hotel in downtown Roanoke is my new favorite and a great addition to the Roanoke restaurant community. The servers are very accommodating and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. The Peruvian entrees are indeed the quality signature of this restaurant. Everything is made fresh and in the moment, and the dishes that my two companions and I ordered and shared were not only presented beautifully, but were excellent in every way. This restaurant will only get better and I will definitely return again and again!

The food was very delicious and authentic. We had an enjoyable dinning experience with friendly servers. It is somewhat pricey but Peruvian food is hands down the best (and the priciest) in South America.

had the best lomo saltado here!! everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. so glad we found this place!

Went here with the family the other night and had a very tasty meal. The service was pretty good though the waiter spoke limited English. I can totally let that slide being that is an ethnic restaurant. We got sangria and ceviche to start and both were excellent. I got a Peruvian risotto and steak dish which was a little greasy but tasted great. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well.

Exceptional seafood, very authentic seasoning. Modestly priced for the quality.

I enjoyed the restaurant. The food selection is a little on the pricy side but everything was fantastic. Owner seemed very friendly and was very attentive.

The lunch special was a great deal! It filled me up and tasted amazing!

Best new addition to Roanoke scene in awhile! Nice setting, but casual. Tried ceviches, tacu tacu, lomo soltado, and chicken, all awesome and recommended. Don't let the dessert cart pass you by.

Small menu, big taste! 4 different entries tried and no one was disappointed. Desire' the manager and our server was a delight. Reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere. You must give Inka a try.

Excellent food and service!! I love Peruvian food and they had all of my favorites, all done perfectly. We shared the lomo saltado, ceviche mixto, causa del dia pollo, yuca a la huancaina and pescado a lo macho. Even got my friend to try ceviche for the first time and they loved it. Great experience, I will definitely be back again soon!

This place is awesome. Great food . Just go. It's places like this that are worth the money not you every other burger spot. Get adventures and taste the rainbow!

Oh man this was so good and not very expensive. I will certainly be back. Everything was terrific and fast.

Had only been open for two weeks when we went, and everything was perfect. Incredible value and great cooking.
