The Fred Harvey House in Union Station LA is now the Imperial Western Beer Company & Steamliner cocktail lounge, opens at 4pm, I found the food menu somewhat limited but a good selection of beers, the beautiful architecture of the past is preserved, worth a visit

They make a mean burger, and there's not much better than enjoying a tasty burger with a beer sitting outside on a hot Pasadena day. I look forward to coming back and trying those tasty hot dogs.

Cool place to grab a drink once you get off the train and waiting for the dodgers shuttle bus, it’s right in front of the bus stop! They also have weekdays happy hour specials. $5 beers and $1 oysters. It’s so packed that we could not find a table nor seats. They have some shuffle board and even a cocktail bar in the back. It was very loud. You get service at the bar though. They help you out. The architecture is beautiful!

This place is amazing and I have already gone back for more. I initially visited because I saw it passing by one say while I was at Union Station. Its so beautiful in there which makes the vibe so great. But the thing that stood out to me was the hospitality! Right from the get go the staff was so welcoming and friendly and even offered to try some of the beer selection. Danny, Joseph and Sarah were easy going and never seemed bothered when asking questions about the menu or even coming to order another drink. This is really huge for me because some of my favorite bars have become staffed by bartenders and servers who just can't be bothered or almost seem annoyed when ordering. The beer was amazing and the food was delicious.I can't wait to come back and bring more people to hang out. The ambiance and location are perfect. Take the train down, drink and eat and hop right back on the train. Thanks for an amazing experience everyone!

I had just finished some business at Union Station when an associate called saying wanted to get together. I recalled a place I'd once been to that had a kickin happy hour but I didn't know the name or where it was located. Thanks to Instagram, I found it, this place; from 4-7, certain beers are cheaper but the kicker was the 1$ = 1 oyster deal. It was awesome; I ordered two sets of four and they were delicious. The staff were courteous and professional and the decor is what one would expect from a restaurant in a grand traffic station. 5 Stars.

Such a cool place and yummy food! Happy hour was fun...loved the music and vibe!

Beautiful spot inside union station with great food and beer. My only complaint would be the service. We went in late night when the bar wasn't that busy and sat there without being acknowledged by the two female bartenders. Danny was kind enough to go beyond his job duties that night and provide great service. We will defenitely be coming back in hopes that Danny is bartending.

Great place to have a beer before taking the Dodger Express to a Dodgers game. We had a dozen of the happy hour $1 oysters served on a bed of ice. They tasted fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere and energy! Upscale feel with great prices. There are also gaming tables such as shuffle board, pool and backgammon. This place is an absolute GEM!

Not very friendly!! Very cool deco design adjacent to Union station terminal. Decent beer options. Bar games. Staff indifferent. DMV vibe was consistent all through the building. See it. Go for one drink and then move on.

One of the best places in LA for a boozy brunch. Their Bloody Mary's are delicious and served with bacon and an oyster, and on Saturdays they have live music! The staff are all super chill and attentive. Your plate or drink won't be empty for long.Oh! Tater tots here are the best I've ever had. Seriously. It's always a good day when I come here.

Reasonable prices for quality craft beer and cocktails, beautiful architecture, shuffleboard and pool tables in good condition, fresh oysters, secluded booths.Obviously, super convenient to public transit! Can get drunk and get home safely without paying for a rideshare. This will be even more convenient in three years when the regional connector is running.

The food was delectable. The atmosphere was amazing.The drinks were mouth watering.The overall crowd was pleasing and diverse.

This is a beautiful place with great beer. It is located in a section of Union Station downtown which makes it easy to get to. The food is decent at best but the beer more than makes up for it. We went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. They had a live jazz band which was great but the acoustics in that building made it a bit loud. Otherwise a great experience.
