This place is a through back to an earlier time. Popular with locals and university crowd. Good food at a reasonable price.

Typical Uni pub. Many memories and whenever in the area I pass by for drinks and comfort food.

Great atmosphere, quiet in the afternoons sometimes and easy to find a quiet table to de-stress from a busy week. This is a truly defined dive bar, and that's the best possible thing for this place. It has so much character, and fish tanks too. And a very old cigarette vending machine that doesn't work for legal reasons properly... Food is fast and worthy of being paired with any beer. I'm lucky to live so close to here, I'll be back! Also, very nice staff who actually converse with you... So rare nowadays!

This place is a proper pub 🤗 large downstairs and a room upstairs. Great range of beers and of course the obligatory sport on lots of TVs! Didn't eat here but others seemed to be demolishing their meals so seemed to be a good sign!

Staff are friendly and really great... The ambiance is amazing just to relax and/or chill with your friends. I enjoyed it... And their complimentary popcaan is great... I had fun. Hope to hang there again. ðŸºðŸ»ðŸºðŸ»ðŸ»

The feel and authenticity of this place is unmatched by any pub in Toronto. Solid place to have a pint. Personally one of my favorites.

The Imperial is a lovely old-fashioned pub. The beer is good and the food is good. Prepare to party like it's 1977

Really cool atmosphere with couches, a library, pool table, bar and rooftop patio. Very friendly servers and delicious food. The fries are to die for and they make a good drink too. Excellent prices and lots to choose from. Probably my new favorite spot!

I have to be honest, I do consulting work for the owner and come down about 3 times a year from Richmond Hill, always order the South West Chicken wrap with Greek salad. Always fresh. Used to come here years ago as a Ryerson Student, brings back memories.

This place is a Toronto Landmark it was opened as the Imperial Hotel in the spring of 1944 during World War II by Mr. Jack Newman and is still run by the same family, Jack's son Fred now runs the Imperial. The old 9 room hotel upstairs is now the Library Lounge a very popular hangout for Ryerson University Students past and present where you'll likely hear Frank Sinatra, or Dean Martin playing on one of the old juke boxes The walls are lined with books and the feeling is warm! The service is always fast, the bar food is great as is the atmosphere. Cozy, clean, comfy overstuffed leather sofas in the back where you can relax with friends or watch a game on one of the big screen tv's. Great rooftop patio. A popular hangout for Ryerson University Students and people visiting the city. Enjoy!

Friendly staff and good food. The imperial burger was delicious and was a large portion of food. Any staff who happened to walk by always asked if I was ok or needed anything. It's a very mellow corner pub feel

Good place.. Cheap drinks.. Very busy bar, didn't get service for 30 minutes, and they just just 1 drink at a time, so every drink was after half an hour. Wish there was more staff.
