Came here with my son the other day, everything was so convenient for us, it was right next to our hotel! Got a table quickly and the staff was extremely friendly and nice. The food was absolutely amazing and one of the best Italian places I had, coming to Japan. One of the best restaurants and affordable as well. Extremely amazing staff and amazing food, I won’t forget the experience! Thank you everyone there for an amazing experience!

Best spaghetti scampi I have ever had, succulent huge prawns and the sauce was so good I could have licked it off the plates. And the dessert was absolutely amazing...made with white peaches from a local prefecture and honey ice cream on a bed of delicious agar! It's really hard to describe but it was such a memorable dessert. I had excellent service even without a reservation...the waiters were so polite, spoke good enough English (and even apologize for their "bad" English even though I should be the one to apologize since I'm in their country and cannot speak a word of Japanese). I cannot say why others had bad experiences with service. The price was reasonable. My wife and I shared a pizza, a pasta, a dessert and a glass of wine for 6700 yen altogether.
Prudent Frugal
Great italian cooking is all about using the freshest ingredients in season along with following traditional italian cooking methods. IL Pappalardo have exceeded all expectations.
