Not only do they stock the very best selection of produce, meats and cheeses, but they offer amazing customer service! They even put together gift baskets.

Fresh and surprisingly varied produce, coffee, and cheese. Ready to eat meals and sandwiches too. Friendly staff too.

Nice produce. (the avocados are always perfect!) I like to pick up the sauces and meatballs for quick meals during the week. My coworker loves to get the sandwiches.

Cool little grocery store with a classic feel to it. Have to say that their cold cut sandwiches are a great deal (just ask them to add some toppings for you, free of charge). Produce is a little pricey but its important to understand that they are working on the small scale! 4 stars, good place for a quick sandwich at a cheap price in the glebe.

Small grocery store with a name in Italian conjunction, Il Negozio Nicastro obviously offers a majority of Italian products, extra virgin olive oil, anti pasti, parmesan etc etc ... But there are also good French products as a nice selection cheese cut and mustard or the "French Baguette" industry unfortunately.You can find morning homemade breads spices arriving early, if there is more supermarket loeb next door also offers ..Nicastro has a coffee party that seems to be rather uncrowded although the coffee is definitely better than their neighbor Starbucks.To try if you are taken from an excess of nostalgia or homesickness.

Very expensive and not a huge variety of Italian goods. I prefer La Bottega. Better prices and more items to choose from.
