Ike's Food and Cocktails

Went here for dinner, was good and a lot of food. Not a ton of options, veggie burger was good but very difficult to eat. It's literally a big portabella mushroom slab with some other veggies in it. Seemed like a good place for a first date or date night with the older cool atmosphere inside.

The service is always fantastic and the drinks are done well. Menu has a little bit of everything American. The weekend brunch is really good as well. The giant cinnamon roll makes it worth it alone! On the visit for this review I ordered the baby back ribs. Nice and tender with just enough sauce. Got a little messy but not overly. Someone at our table got a poor cut of meat which was taken care of promptly without question. All in all, a wonderful experience and some fresh cookies to go.

We were brought here by theater folks who eat here almost every time they come to town to see a show. As soon as our cocktails arrived we know one of the reasons why.. fast, freindly, experienced servers and bartenders that know their trade. The food was also excellent..we saw the cake go by to another table and had to end the evening sharing a peice even though we were quite full. Great place for romantic dinner or a group of friends

Love the burgers! Is our must stop everytime we're in Minneapolis. The burgers medium are amazing. Love the flatliner, or the mushroom and Swiss. My husband also loves the roadhouse steak burger if you're really hungry.Bloody Mary's are really good as well.

Cozy atmosphere, clean restroom. Courteous and friendly wait staff.Food was as described on the menu. Sandwich VERY flavorful. Coleslaw tasted fresh.

Simply one of the best restaurants in Minneapolis. This iconic institution blends old world charm, classic service expertly delivered, bow tied bartenders and food that will knock you off your bar stool. One of my favorite happy hour spots.

I enjoyed the vibe of Ike's. Service was slow, even for an early weekday lunch. Everyone ordered burgers with different levels of done and they nailed it for all three. The egg was mostly cooked, I enjoy my eggs over easy on burgers. It was all flavorful. The warm chocolate chip cookies after the meal were great!

Good food, good cocktails, very cool atmosphere, especially on weekends. Try to stop in whenever we're haunting the DT area. Get some!

Delicious food, great selection of beers, comfortable setting. It was a welcome break from the commotion of downtown Minneapolis.

A very nice man named Marcus who works at Mayo Clinic Square took me to Ike's after he suggested their food for breakfast. The steak was well done and absolutely immaculate. The only issue I had was that there was only one waiter and she seemed to forget everything. The place had about only 5 tables of people being served and on one plate they forgot to add cheese. The pancakes are very thin and the syrup tastes very close to sugar.. too sweet for my liking. The lights are dim and a very romantic setting. I would absolutely go back just for the steak.

Best place for a birthday lunch...huge 4 layer chocolate cake with a steak knife through it! Of course you can eat there at anytime. Excellent patty melt! Burgers are huge!
