Whereas IHOP always provides what they are famous for (breakfast) as advertised, the quality of the food seems to always match the fact they are a large chain churning over tables as fast as possible. I had an omelet that was very tasty and the coffee is always great. However my daughter's eggs clearly spent too much time under the warming lamps which was obvious upon delivery. The service was friendly but slow taking over 20 min to deliver our food after ordering. If we had been in a hurry I would not have been as understanding. Bottom line is if you want an average food experience for a reasonable price IHOP delivers.

We waited 45 min for our order. The waitress named Tricia was an absolute nightmare and extremely rude, and the food did not look at all to the pictures on the menu. I was so disappointed that when I tried to tell the waitress what was wrong with the food she said " that's the way we make it". We had small deformed omelettes, hard super thin hashbrowns, extremely dry pancakes although we ordered the expensive ones with cream and caramel, and the appetizer was greasy and soggy. We paid a lot of money just to leave and go somewhere else. We are very disappointed.

Normally IHOP is a sure bet. This one is on the southbound feeder road in IH 35 in Georgetown. It is very hard to spot as its sign is behind some trees. The place seems underutilized and should be busy. When we walked in my instincts were to walk right back out, but my wife was hungry and frustrated. There was definitely a negative vibe. There were only two waitress and one of them was suffering some kind of personal crisis. We got the other waitress because the one with the issue said she did not want another table. Now our waitress was miffed and, well you can guess what went on from there. I hate it when the waitress play the "slow" game because one is not pulling their weight. I like to say: Good service can make up for marginal food, but the best food in the world cannot make up for bad service!

Questions & Answers

Sorry you experienced that. I can personally say that I live in the area and frequent IHOP with my family. I've always enjoyed our visits. I'm not sure about the turn-over rate but maybe the crew working that day were not the best. You should definitely speak with management, identify the waiter/waitress and make a complaint. Best to complain while you are there or before you leave. If the manager cares, something will be done. If management does not care there business will decline. Corporate managers should be notified. This is a customer based business and you as the customer should be treated like a queen (Dora).

This place was near empty and still slow! Our dinners came out cold and the chicken was not cooked!

No I didn't

The service is bad at that branch. I would rather drive on to Round Rock than receive the poor service we got last time. They we're even that busy at the time.

I didn't know they ever did.....
