Great outdoor spaces. Lots of cocktail options and happy that I was able to have the gluten free pizza.

Hydraulic quickly became one of my favourite places in Buffalo and is always incredible. Great drinks and amazing pizza and a wonderful atmosphere to boot. While all of their wait staff is great, Kait is my favorite waitress and an absolute. She is so friendly and helpful. She is also the most attentive waitress I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and provides the best service/experience I've ever had.

Delicious, unique pizzas made with fresh ricotta, mozzarella, and herbs and sauces. Amazing flavors. Fun atmosphere and great service. Sebastian and Michelle made sure we enjoyed our experience. And Free coffee to end the meal with local made truffles.

We came for an early dinner on Saturday after making several attempts over the past year to try this place out. It was well worth the wait! Service was excellent - our server was friendly, knowledgeable and kept our glasses filled. We decided to go with several appetizers to share rather than pizza and loved the cheese fondue, bourbon wings and tater tots - they were all delicious and between the three filled us up. My friend went with the Old Dog, New Trick cocktail which she loved and my Hydrocar was phenomenal! Great setting, in the middle of Larkin Square with a beautifully restored building. Go!

Although the bartender's personality was lackluster at best, the pizza was incredible! The table service was on point; beer selection was great and the prices were reasonable. Go there tonight.

Love the brick over pizza and often order a non-menu item - Garlic bread in which they use a regular pizza dough, olive oil, fresh herbs and served with addition garlic olive oil with more herbs - ahhhh, to die for :) The bartenders are great at making specialty drinks - my favorite is the last word (doesn't require much skill) but still love it and oh yeah! The homemade fireball is so yummy!!!

Overall - very cool place and I would try it out on the patio next time. We stopped here for a beer on a mini your of breweries we'd never been to in Buffalo. The tap list wasn't overwhelming good. Most beers were from Community Works. Priced were in line with every other brewery. We were hoping to try the CW Cool Kids NE IPA. They were trying to change the taps so we never got to try it but the bartender did give us their summer session IPA that had notes of coconut and pineapple. It was decent but one was enough for me. We sat at the bar because the patio was packed but next time I would definitely play some corn hole on the patio and hopefully try their NE IPA. Hoping they change the menu with some more summer type beers.

The food prices are a little higher than they likely ought to be. Alternatively a small side could be included. Not a bad spot, overall.

Questions & Answers

Absolutely! They have lammas on premesis every year, and dogs are extremely welcome!

You're better off calling the restaurant directly. It's probable that won't actually see this question.

Hydraulic Hearth had not yet opened in the 1950s, so no.

I asked the bartender last night where the old bar and fridge fronts came from and he said the place used to be a bar, the swan he said. So that's a yes. Anyone really qualified to answer that will be computer illiterate.

Yes! The patio will be closed when the weather is bad, but the restaurant is open.
