Hyde Park Taco Station

Usually I'd give 5 stars but seeing as how I came here today and they seem to be closed, I had to rate @ 1 ⭐

Some of the most expensive steak tacos I tried in the city and the meat quality wasn't the greatest they loaded with seasoning to mask the meat quality.Shrimp tacos the shrimp is a cooked already and they heat it up a bit to add to a couple of tortillas with mango pico de gallo once again poor quality in product and in flavor.Corn, I order the the corn on the cob it was reasonable except to find out that it was frozen corn.In a competitive market in culinary you have to be the best in a city like Chicago, good luck to them.By the way this is my third time.Service was good

My wife and I were ending our stay in Hyde Park, en route back to Detroit. We decided to get a one last meal in Chicago before we hit the road, we chose the Taco Station. Santa mierda did we make a great choice! I got the pulled chicken, grilled chicken, and shrimp soft tacos, my wife got the grilled chicken burrito with elote and brown rice. The food was amazingly authentic and out of this world, the only thing that rivaled the food was the staff. As soon as we entered they greeted us with great warmth. Go here. Many times.

I used Uber eats to order lunch from here on a Saturday. My food arrived quickly & warm as can be in 10 degree weather. The shrimp tacos and nachos with grilled chicken added gave me a culinary sensation I needed to have. I can still taste the mango on the shrimp taco.

I don't like that the Elote corn has so watered down. The bottom of the bowl has corn water in it. I have to ask for it to be drain. Overall best food over. Fast service.

Best Tacos in all of Chicago! They are the best and they are affordable. My wife and I live in streetervile and will drive out to Hyde Park to get these tacos!!

I like this restaurant. The tacos taste really good. I read a couple reviews on various sites complaining about the price. The price point is standard in Hyde Park. The wait time isn't too long. It's just really crowded on some days. I wasn't a fan of the rice and beans, but I really like this place.

The place was clean and the staff was nice. The steak tacos were pretty good but we waaay overpriced! Almost $4 for a steak taco?!? Plus that's almost a dollar more than was advertised on their online menu. I've had steak tacos that we actually better for about half the cost.

Cool location. The food is pretty good and I enjoyed the taste, but it's not what I would expect from a local joint. The quality and taste was average and it was extremely greasy. I literally had to ring out my burrito out my car window while I was driving because it had so much grease. It was disgusting how much grease oozed out of the soggy burrito. Worth visiting, but I wouldn't go back.

Best restaurant in Hyde Park. Best taste, lots of food, low prices. Their must-eat items are their rice, beans, elotes, tacos al pastor, and guacamole.

Really excellent new fast casual spot in Hyde Park! The burrito I got was delicious and certainly had some flavors that are not typical of fast food burritos (fresh cilantro, lime). The service and congeniality of the staff was amazing, too. I needed to hang out for a bit and they let me use the Wi-Fi to do some work. It was great!

Had 2 steak tacos. Very delicious. Owner was a trip, making all the patrons laugh. Very entertaining enviroment

I was not impressed. Expensive and the food wasn't fabulous for the price😖
