Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Shakes are good and I love the custard. Burger is really good, but mine was a good bit thinner than the burger I have had previously at another hwy 55, otherwise it would have been 5 stars :)

Only had shakes and Sundays at this visit but they were very good.

Awesome staff. They got hit with a rush with only 2 cooks and 2 waitresses. Almost entire restaurant was full. They managed to stay calm under the pressure, food was amazing and the manager Robert was particularly great at interacting with customers before he had to cook. Great environment, better food! Will come again!

Nice little place to stop in and grab a quick bite. A little pricey for the food you get, but its always fresh and hot. Their specials are a good bet, like the .99 root beer floats!

Burgers and shakes are excellent. Fries are terrible so get the tater tots instead... they're great! Service is pretty good. We've seldom been there when it was crowded and only eat their burgers. Food arrived in a timely manner.

Delicious cheeseburger, fries not very hot, but overall a good place to eat.

Great bit of nostalgia here. I was not around in 1955. But, if you were, this is a great throw back to a bygone era. Burgers, fries, hot dogs, hoagies, shakes and ice cream, cheesesteaks. Even shrimp and some pot roast. Great place for American comfort food. I LOVE the chicken cheesesteak called "the moose" (pic shown). It is a pile of grilled chicken with bacon and ranch dressing. I mean, who doesn't love chicken, bacon and ranch? The fries could be better. But, hey. The cheesesteak makes up for it. Good for simple comfort food. Worth a visit if you have not been.

came in for lunch food was hot fresh andys size definatly worth the money and quality the best i had in greenville manager and staff very friendly you can tell the guy and his staff care about there customers and buisness

Cold fries. Burger was ok. Kids loved their meals but they forgot a spoon for our child's applesauce and no one checked on us. Eventually we got a spoon but they were inattentive and the food was just so so. Even getting the check was kind of a hassle. It was virtually empty so it seems like they just didn't care, not that they were busy

We always enjoy this place, food is great, service is awsome, portions are generous and the price is right.

Burgers are great. Seems like your service is up and down. Today, it looked like the manager was in a bad mood and the few employees you had were tense and fearful of making a mistake. The place could use some happy employees ! I know it is tough to get responsible employees for minimum wage but pay a manager to train and instill some happiness in the place which should result in happy customers who tip the waiters to make a decent wage. Happy employees make money for owners ! Cheap help is usually more expensive in the long haul. I will pick my time to return but I will return. Thanks

first time here food was hot and good they were very busy but we were well taken care of the only bad part wasnt the employees there was a rude woman at counter with on a loud phone call some people cant respect other customers .....but we enjoyed the food and the people were nice and made sure we were taken care of

Great food at an awesome price

After reading the reviews was a little apprehensive about trying it, but thank God I gave it a try. Greeted by our server Sally with a huge smile and upbeat personality and quickly pushed 2 tables together for our party. Food was amazing, drinks refilled quickly and was even given a free sample of dessert for all of us. Even though this is a 30 minute drive for us it will be a regular stop for us. Great job Sally and great food Hwy 55.

Very good music, I recommend coming to hwy 55. It's a great place for after church gatherings, sports events, date night and hanging out with friends! The food was great and so was the service! It truely put a smile on my Face! Thank you! My Mom even enjoyed it and the music from her youth!
