Hunter-Gatherer Brewery & Alehouse

Been there several times and each has been enjoyable. My first was on a whim with a friend. Great service even though kitchen was shutting down for the night, the band was fantastic! Second visit was on an extremely busy night. In fact, I called from car regarding parking and a server came out of the restaurant to find me. He actually called me back when I dropped the call. Coincidentally he was our server and was very accommodating to our large group. I've been back since and have had again, a great time and experience. Kudos to the staff and management at Hunter- Gatherers. Hopefully will continue to be run well.

Enjoyed some beverages and looking forward to coming back to try the food menu next time.

The food was very good. But for a brewery, I was disappointed. They only had 5 beers to chose from although they were pretty good. They were brewed in house but I would have liked a wider variety. Service was top notch.

Yummy little brewery with some rotating menu items. Can be a bit pricey depending on what you order, but I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered.

Great atmosphere and food uses great ingredients. I did think the portions were small given the price. Their beer selecions were not great given the are labeled a brewery. The home beers were just pretty plain. I think you come here for the location and atmosphere.

Been here couple times, good selection of beer and sometimes a good band even. Tried out their burgers this time, my friend ordered a H-G burger and claimed it was the best burger she's eaten in Columbia, I got myself a backbean burger, whcih I wasn't too impressed with. It was too crumbly and unmanageable to eat. Although I absolutely loved their hash browns it was super yum!

Second visit here, had the hazy IPA and mac &cheese, both were good. Great atmosphere. Must of came at a busy time because service was slow, but it was fine because we werent in a rush.

Love the place, good local food and micro-brew. No chain dishes, food will surprise.

Pretty good place with good beer and mixed drinks. Their appetizers were really delicious. I don't think I'd want to pay $20 dollars or more for food at a pub-style establishment, but I dont want to talk down something I haven't tried, just be aware that some of their dishes are kind of pricey. Their appetizers were priced well though for what it's worth. I'd definitely go back.

Sublime. The beer was very good, the food was excellent. We went as a large party and the staff took care of us no problem. Everything we ordered, and we ordered a lot, was wonderful. To top it all off, we lucked out with a wonderful jazz ensemble playing us out for the night. This was one of the best evenings I've had in a while. Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt.

The wait staff were great, pint was decent and the outdoor seating was pretty awesome on a sunny evening. The beef tips and grits were delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

Good food and beers are reasonably priced. Awesome environment. The staff was extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend this place for a bite to eat and some brews. Also, the black bean dip is delicious.
