Hunnicutt's Dairy Bar

Much more value for the money than other area ice cream shops. Their food is good as well. The service can be a little slow but that is my only complaint.

Very nice workers and great food. I ordered a strawberry sherbert but it didn't taste like it normally does. It was a lighter pink as well than it normally is. Hoping they didn't change brands or something. I also ordered fried mushrooms and a ham and cheese. They were both very good. My son ordered a hot fudge sundae and a Coney dog. He was very happy with his meal as well!!! It was super packed when we got there. I wish they had 2 separate individual lines for people since they have 2 Windows up front. But it was like everyone was standing around and you couldn't tell who had been helped. 💛💜

Best little ice cream shop on the Southside. The place is a muncie staple.

I love this Place - but don't order the Fried Pickle Burger. You only get two Fried pickles. Everything else is a 5 Star 💙

I like the way they allow you to know your order is ready, you don't have to stand there they will txt your phone, and I only been to this place once it's a okay place to eat I give it 65%

Didn’t have the pleasure to have their lunch/dinner options but their ice cream was great! My boyfriend got a free swirl cone with his BSU ID (a pretty generous portion) and I got a hand dipped cone (strawberry ice cream and chocolate dip). Good thing they don’t have a rewards program/punch card because wow I would go through them fast. They also have a daily special for the weekdays.

I grew up on this place, so when going back home to visit family, I had to introduce my girlfriend to Hunnicutt's. The ice cream is still delicious. The parking lot and picnic tables are still covered in fries, melted ice cream, and bees. And that's fine by me. Only drawback to a recent visit is there was an issue with the machine they use to keep the butterscotch and fudge for the dip cones, so my dip cone wasn't as beautiful as I've had in the past, but it was still delicious.

The food was very good, servings could have been larger and service in the drive thru was slow. I would return.

We usually visit Hunnicutt's about once a month when they are open, usually on their Coney Dog Special Day. Today we visited and we ordered 6 Coney Dogs and half of them had less than a half of a teaspoon of Coney Sauce on them. I understand the need to cut back and especially when I'm only paying $.89 for a Coney Dog, but that seems extreme and is not the normal quality of their food. We also ordered Waffle Fries, which are normally our favorite part of the meal. Today our waffle fries were the consistency of rocks. Neither one of us could eat them because they were so hard. We had to throw them away because they were completely inedible. I'm leaving 3 stars instead of 5 because if I had experienced Hunnicutt's for the first time today, I would give it 1 star and never go back. Since I have had a long history of good experiences I gave it 3 stars. Today was bad enough to warrant the 2 star deduction.
