I ordered the “grandma’s slice,†which if you’re not familiar with NY pizza slice terminology is the square, sauce-heavy slice. It was ok but not very memorable. The guys behind the counter were really nice. This place always looks crowded from the outside, plus I see happy hour signage when I walk by, so I thought it was more of a dine-in establishment, but it’s just a street slice takeaway spot that happens to have a lot of seating. I would not order the $9 house salad again. It was also nothing special. My boyfriend loved the mushroom pizza and has been raving about it all day, so I’ll definitely give Bleecker Street Pizza another try

Best pizza I’ve had all year, even after having brought it home. Perfect crust and very flavorful sauce. Wish I’d ordered a third slice.

Such an amazing experience!! So much more than a pizza restaurant, it’s a slice of NYC history with a soul. We were greeted by Greg who took photos of our group together while we tried our first slices of NYC pizza! Greg took us around the restaurant and showed us pictures of the history of the place he is so proud of. We took a picture with him as a group with a giant pizza and we will cherish these memories forever. Even if you aren’t looking for a warm incredible hospitable experience (your crazy) the pizza here is phenomenal. It will make you wonder why the other places have customers. Our absolute favorite was the buffalo pizza and just plain cheese and pepperoni. Do yourself a favor, Go. Talk to Greg and let him tell you about his brother who opened up the place. Warms your heart and fills your stomach
