I went for, of course, lasagne. I had the Lazy Lasagna as they call it and was really good. Different than any other lasagne I have had. Service was quick and friendly but not rushed.

The lasagna was good and there was a good variety to it. However, I felt like they added too much butter to their sauce in lasagna. Cheesecake was interesting as well to eat, it's not a regular New York cheesecake + it has less sugar in it.

This review is for the House of Lasagna: food seemed pre-cooked, the chicken that came with the salad looked like it came from the freezer; drinks were horrible. We ordered a pitcher of Sangria and it tasted like plain 'ol seltzer water. The service was attentive.

Lukewarm & Watery. The level of care gone into crafting the pasta was as much as opening a box, the sauce tasted as though they rinsed the can with water and poured it over, and the “salad” was a bag of mixed greens with a dressing packet poured over before delivery. Bonus was the bread - zero flavor, but slightly chewy!!! Pro Tip: Save yourself delivery time and open the packaging yourself, sincerely think the food would’ve tasted better.

Had the lasagna bolognese as part of the autumn deal. Very meaty and little cheese, which I prefer. Noodles were perfectly cooked, not overdone. Wine and salad with deal were just ok, will just get lasagna next time. Had the tiramisu for dessert with glass of homemade limoncello. Tiramisu was delicate and sweet, very good. Limoncello was not too sweet but not to strong either, perfect balance. Service was excellent, though not many people as we ate early Sunday. Very friendly host and staff.

Literally the best lasagna I’ve ever had. Leans more romantic, but nice atmosphere.

Nice small place with a intimate feeling. Service was great and attentive. Brushetta was very good, served nice and warm. Lazy Lasagna was really good, a unique take on lasagne. Red sauce has a good flavor. It isn't chunky but tastes real good. Tiramusu was the winner of the night. So tasty and good, really enjoy it and very happy I ordered it even though I didn't have much room for it.

I’m giving them 2 stars because waiters were nice. But the lady at the door was not as pleasant. And the food?!?! I will never come back.

Amazing. We got burrata, beef ravioli, and a bunch of other pastas. So good. Everything was incredible and we will be back.

Amazing service and friendly staff. Food was just exceptional. Thanks to Maria for a great conversation, you are a star and we thoroughly enjoyed yapping with you. You made our final night in New York one to remember. Went 2 nights in a row as it was so good! Definitely a hidden gem in NY and one you need to visit.

A great red sauce joint with good portions, great service and great drinks! We really enjoyed eating here on our last night in Manhattan.

I don't understand how so many people give this place positive reviews??? Based in comparison to other restaurants in this location, you would "assume" that by now people would've realized how terrible this place really is. The lasagna is, premade, I can only assume a week or two ago, frozen, then thawed out to order, probably a bit in microwave and then in oven for a moment then it is drizzled with somewhat decent pasta sauce, but man what a disappointment. The seafood special, included four types of seafood, decent portion but, that tasted fishy. No flavor. The linguini sauce that it came with was straight "out of a can taste" with fresh garlic sauteed and mixed in together to add flavor. Ordered from the menu "grilled salmon" over brocolli rabe. First of all, this is not grilled. It is pan seared and basically drenched in oil and portioned awkwardly. There was a bland crispy coating on fish cause it was basically shallow fried in greasy pan...No Grill Mark's....so yeah....really false advertising and for $23-24.00.... should be made as listed on menu. The accompanying broccoli rabe was mushy and overcooked, too bad because it was obviously picked well and fresh before chef touched it. Free glass of wine with special....uhhhh....so bad I guess it should be free cause it's so cheap...probably from a $5-6 bottle. I saw this place 2 months ago passing by, read the reviews and have been hoping to come by with my family. My son loves lasagna and we've been to many different places to try it. Made a special trip in to city for this as a final destination to a day out. The ambiance was so strange and poorly painted. Drizzeled paint on all lamps. You could see dust everywhere and this place looked like a dispatch center for uber eats...7 screens or so!!! No joke....like 7 or 8 tablets out ...the woman in front just stares at you uncomfortably as you eat as they just run business in front of you. I'm glad I was with kids because if I had come here on date night I would say this place is definitely not romantic Italian dining whatsoever! I mean make a little partition wall or something so we don't as customers have to experience the business side of dining but to sit down and enjoy a meal in a more intimate way. I felt so uncomfortably ogled by the woman working here whom I was informed is the sister of the owner...well....good luck to your establishment...you have an obvious following...But!, you won't pull the wool over the eyes of this old wise sheep.

Tasty food, great welcome, too expensive (but that's NYC!)

Beautiful cozy environment with the nicest hostess. So welcoming and relaxing service. Delicious food with a wide variety of lasagnas and pastas. Feels like a true Italian restaurant. 5 star must recommend for others thinking about Italian food in the area. Once again well done House of Lasagna, the four of us greatly enjoyed our time and were delighted with our experience. :)

Staff was very friendly and informative. Their recommendations of the dishes did not disappoint. Will definitely come back next time we are in the area
