One of the last remaining staple staple Chinese restaurants in Indianapolis the last 20+ years. Doesn't matter what it looks or feels like. They just have EXCELLENT food. So yeah maybe it smells like old oil, the wallpaper is peeling, the tiles are fading, the carpet needs changed... but you come here to eat a good meal and laugh with the owner's rambunctious energy. Get it while it still stands!

Great food. Good service. But the bathrooms could use a facelift. Either way I would still recommend!

The staff are very friendly. The food tastes good. My wife and I split Generals Chicken, a good amount of food for both of us. The chicken has less breading than others Chinese restaurants, which we liked.

My girlfriend and I eat a LOT of Chinese food. In the past year we've been to China Town in NYC and Chicago, always looking for the best food we can find. We've been to well over a hundred places over our time together, and nothing has compared to this place. The friendly and awesome staff is just the tip of the iceberg. The food itself was so good that I felt like I'd never had General Tsos before. The light crisp to the chicken and the presence of all the spices was perfectly paired. I can only imagine that those who are describing the food as bland are unfamiliar with the spices that are MEANT to be in these dishes, and failed to taste their fresh application. This is the taste of food made fresh, not from gallon jugs of commercial sauces. You want the real thing? Eat here. You'll have to be patient waiting for your order, and the price is a little higher (about 15 a person), but take it from someone who eats too much of it: this is the best Chinese food. Period.

Ordered beef and veggies with pan fried noodles. Beef is nice and tender. Good assortment of veggies including some pea pods and bok choy. Nice and savory. Beef was tender. I really appreciate that this restaurant still cuts and fries their own wonton strips for the soups. Very friendly and efficient.

Food is good as hell and seems fresher than those other jokester spots down in brip. Sharron the server is amazingly nice and informative. Only bummer is the redneck bar next door. They all suck. Bummer city. 10/10 would always eat here.
