The best taiwanese fried chicken ever! It is so authentic and delicious. The chicken is perfectly seasoned, crispy yet succulent. Both the original and crispy chicken are delicious. The wait wasn’t more than 15 minutes and the chicken was piping hot. Absolutely recommend to fried chicken aficionados.

The fried chicken is massive! They must use some sort of gargantuan alien chicken breed that they've kept secret from the rest of humanity. It tastes just like the fried chicken from Taiwan. Mmmm. Also, the king oyster mushrooms were amazing, I actually found them better than the chicken itself. It's all so good but also soooo unhealthy....

Taiwanese giant fried chicken. Taste is Ok, only the popcorn chicken is a bit too salty.Price is reasonable, just you have to wait a bit. Slow service...

Absolutely, hands down, the best darn fried chicken you will find in Montreal and maybe all of Quebec for that matter. Don’t go here if you are on a diet because it’s heavy as hell, but tasty as heaven!

One of the best fried chicken in Montreal. Takes about 10 minutes to cook, but it's fresh and tasty. 1 Large piece 12$, nothing included.

I went to Taiwan in the summer and ate this there too. So I was really surprised that there was a branch in Montréal! It's a bit expensive, 10$ for the regular and 13$ for the one with cheese in it. But, honestly, it is worth it! Each portion is huge. And the cheese one is delicious, the cheese melts in the middle of the chicken! By the way, in the photo, only the two Hotstar packs are related to the review, the other products are from another store, had a feast. You can't go wrong buying chicken from their! It's better if you eat in the restaurant, the paper bag get a bit soggy because of the heat.

This well known Asian Chicken franchise set up this shop downtown Montreal. The specialty is a chicken cutlet deep fried and flavorful. From spicy to Korean to BBQ flavor. Even a popular cheese filled one is available. Very juicy and crispy. Their sides are deep fried oyster mushrooms, sweet potatoes, and corn on the cob. They have a variety of specialty drinks as well as canned pop. Their standard white, blue trademark decor with bar stools and tables. Seats about 20. Service is friendly but remember that everything is cooked fresh by order be so expect to wait 10 - 15 minutes. Metered parking.

Get the extra spicy with the grapefruit mojito. A little pricey for what it is but definitely worth it

1st and last time I go. Food tastes not bad. I had the classic spicy with a Mohito drink. I ordered my food and it took quite some time before it was ready. I also found the spicey chicken to be a little to spicey. What BOTHERED me was the guy preping the chicken in the back can be seen from the opening. He had a face mask on and gloves which is a good thing. Then he pulls his mask forward and with the other glove starts feeding himself chicken. His fingers were basically on his mouth. Those same gloves are used to prepare your food. Too bad I observed this after I got my order and was done eating. I have a picture of the culprit behind the square opening. These guys need more training but I'm definitely not going to recommend this place and as a local guide it is my duty to inform you guys.

This is soo good. It's a bit expensive for the quantity. It takes a bit time to make but the wait is worth it. I would like them to not waste lots of wrap paper just to wrap the food.

I tried Hot Star for the first time. Truthfully the food was just alright. We tried the fried chicken with cheese, crispy fried chicken and korean BBq chicken and sweet potatoes fries.1. Sweet potatoe fries were so sweet they tasted like desert-- do not recomend 2. Crispy fried chicken was the best that we tried3. Crispy chicken with cheese, was only so so and very greasy.4. Korean BBQ, sauce was good but sweet, chicken was sort of soggy. The place is super clean, but I would say I was overall underwhelmed. Everything is sort of sweet. Which tastes a bit different. Definitely worth a try at least once, again crispy chicken was my favorite.

Chicken is not tasty at all. The sauce they use tastes very bad, couldn’t even take a second bite, had to throw the rest in the garbage. And I also find the prices to be very high for nothing. Never again!

In Hong Kong, the chicken is always already done and you get it instantly, this one is made to order...less fast but still good..
