Hot Mess Burgers & Pies

I always make it a point to try new and local restaurants to support the business around here. However, for the price I paid I expected a much meatier serving in my bag. The patty is not much bigger than that of a Big Mac from McDonald's and the "sloppy sauce" is a knock off of the Mac Sauce. The bacon was good, but sadly was also the best part of the burger. Drinks are expensive for the size and its overloaded with ice to keep their costs down. Fries were good, crunch wise, but there was a major lack of flavor. It was like eating fries out of a bag you get from Walmart. Otherwise the wait was very long as they are understaffed and there is no clear signage of where to order or pickup your food. Staff seemed overwhelmed and in the time I was here I've seen at least 3 orders go back for mistakes. Awesome concept, but definitely needs improvement. Also a lack of seating for customers and no restrooms . Not even a port a potty also likely to keep costs down.

Delicious home style burgers, chicken sandwiches and veggie burgers - all served fast! The Parmesan fries are to die for (order them extra crispy)! Drive up/walk thru service. We are going back soon!

Amazing! We finally made it out to try this place today. It was great! The guy who took our order and was so friendly and the food was delicious. The onion rings and fries are soooo good! We will definitely bring the family and go again.

Just had lunch with my girls here. We all enjoyed the burgers, the OMG x2 is awesome. Fries are really good with the parm and sea salt sprinkled on them. Food is worth the wait, which is the only down fall of this place 30mins from order to served.

This was a good juicy burger! And they sprinkle a parmesan mix on their crispy fries...no complaints here! Delicious! It's in a cute orange trailer looking building on 601...you Fairview people are lucky to have this place near you! Bought a cute tee from there too!

Well, interesting menu. Nice staff. Clean place. Crowded parking and not enough outdoor seating. The meal looks great. Unfortunately, for me, I found the burger to be relatively flavorless. There was meat, but no meat flavor.I've got to try it again. All the boxes were checked, so this lack of flavor has to be a fluke.

Was just driving in the middle of nowhere and this little gem popped up! Decided to try the place and glad I did. The food is really cheap and tastes good. The people are nice and the place is cute. I wish they did have a bathroom, but I understand why they can't. They give you so many fries I couldn't finish them and the burger was much bigger than I thought it would be! Longer wait times, but this isn't a fast food joint. Decent food at a good price. Give it a try if you are in the area.

Now that's a burger. All other can't compare. They really do load it up. Lemonade is perfect. And its cheap.Real quality, local good food.Gotta try em.

I love this place. Feel right at home and the burger s are number 1. Out side setting ,tables and umbrellas. Francheska is so nice. Dean Marten serenading from the outside speakers. Try the fries. Great.

Great place to eat friendly people and good food. Since they have opened they have definitely gotten better and faster.

Surprise surprise...with wonderful fries. A friend suggested that we try this place earlier this week. None of us had been before. Great burgers in single, double, or triple formats, and in varying combinations most humans have never thought of. That includes over a bed of jasmine rice for those trying to avoid the bun. They offer a home made veggie burger. The fries are unbelievable..and I (almost) never eat fries. The tater tots are the same, both delicious and plentiful. The people working there were kind and incredibly helpful with my (When Harry Met) Sally questions about their offerings. I'd go back in a heartbeat...and will again soon. It is worth noting that there is no restroom and only outside (or in your car...which sounds just fine) seating.

Close to the house, other than that I probably wouldnt have gone there. The fries and onion rings were nice and crispy and no greasy taste. Burger patties do not look homemade and have zero seasoning in them. Don't understand why they are renaming Thousand island dressing as sloppy sauce, not exactly the most exciting topping. All and all they got a great location but the food was a swing and a miss. I strongly recommend The Hill in Mint hill if you want excellent homemade burger, no frozen patties there.
