Hot Dog Avenue

First time here and love it . A great American Burger, Chicago style Hot dogs and Italian beefs. A lil taste of chicago style cooking made me feel right at home. Thanks

Chicago dog and the gyro burrito are great the reason i gave this 3 stars is because i ate in the place and there were significante amount of flys in the eatting area. Not one or even two flys is somewhat ok but there was atleast 10-12 flys all around and they kept landing one people and the food. To where me and some other guests were swatting them away more then we were eatting. I even tryed to go outside and eat at the out door seating and still there was just as much outside then in. I dont know why because the place looked to be clean on the inside and out.

Good gyro sandwiches and Vienna hot dogs. Clean and friendly service. We will be back. Thank you.

These guys serve up a serious Chicago dog.And the French Fries are some of the best you'll find these days.

Tasty, inexpensive food, great customer service. Lots on the menu besides just hot dogs. Fun decor, a little kitschy, but not distracting. There was a TV with a ballgame on, so I had something to watch while I was eating, which I appreciated. They do specials (I can't remember if it was daily or weekly), so there's "replay value". Worth checking out!

We have a year round vacation home in the area and have been going to HDA for years. We’ve had dogs, burgers and gyros all delicious. Cheese curds are authentic Wisconsin style. Good fries. Great service, clean and cute indoor seating. They have a drive thru but because food is made to order there will be a short wait. HIGHLY recommend! One of our favorites.

Moved to Baraboo after living in Chicago for 40+ years. Was missing Chicago style Dogs, Italian Beef, Polish, Gyros, etc. Well this is the place. As good as anything I've had in Chicago. Really terrific food. The music iscool too!

we sat in the drive thru for 10 mins, no one ever came over the speaker, so we could not place an order, however as we were pulling away to leave, someone finally came to the window and waved as we were already on the road. still had 2 cars behind us as well. we will not be back!
