Hot Chicken Takeover

This place was amazing! We were visiting family and are from out of state. They said we had to try it and took us here. I am a fan of spicy food and get so annoyed when people say something is spicy when it isn't. This is hands down the best spicy chicken I have ever had. I got the hot and it was the perfect amount of spice that you could still taste everything but had good heat. Plus free sweet tea with the order? Will definitely make this place a necessary stop whenever we're in Columbus.

Wonderful little establishment, with great food. The interior is very interestingly done with large family style picnic tables for seating and plenty of free tea for you to enjoy! My only reasoning for the 4 stars is because every time I've been to this location, there seems to have been some trash not taken care of on a table. (Mainly straw wrappers or napkins) Not really a huge deal though. I recommend hitting this place up. Go hott or go home!

The manager here really made the experience great! Had an issue with an online order, but he did not make me feel like I was the issue. The food is always great which is why we showed my mother in law visiting from out of town this place. She loved it!

2nd visit. Tried the Holy S#!& Style. It was amazing! I will not eat all 4 pieces on my own again, but would love to have it again! Still a great experience!

The food was really good. My Mac and cheese was dry when I received it but a member of the staff brought me some fresh food and it was great. Friendly staff great service!

Love this place. Some of the best chicken whether you get boneless (like pic) or wings, legs & thighs. Baked beans & Mac & cheese are both amazing as well. An all you can drink sweet tea to top it off.

HCT is simply the best fried chicken I ever found in Columbus, full-stop. Hell, I'm living in Tennessee near Nashville now and STILL haven't found any fried chicken I'd say is better! The portions are huge, the chicken is to die for, and even the sides are great. If you love fried chicken, and especially if you like it spicy, this is the place you were looking for. This is it, right here. Go. Just go.

I love the hot chicken. Go for medium or hot spicy level. Holly %$$# is not recommended as you will definitely feel holly @$@%#. Must try if you haven't before. Just drumsticks or Drumsticks meal are the best options off the menu. Thumbs up.

This was my first time venturing to this place.... Very nice reception, the chicken was cooked to perfection! The Bake Beans oh boy! So so good! Very clean and pleasant and relaxed environment. You can choose from Mild to hott! As far as, how you want your chicken to taste. Kudos to the Staff 💋

So tasty and fun! I love the simple menu, workers are always super chill and cool. And I've never been disappointed in the quality. Get the pudding!!!!

My first time going and the cashier was very helpful and I was able to order based upon his suggestions and the food was fresh. Great customer service provided and will definitely be coming back.

The food, atmosphere, staff, vibe, and everything is incredible. LOVE the secret hotter than holy. Here as the coronoavirus is breaking out and they are handling it super well. There was a line almost out the door, even when everyone is home - that says something!
