Hops Burger Bar

We stopped in while traveling through. It’s about 1-2 miles from I-40 and definitely worth the trip! Service was fantastic, quick, available, and never needed to ask for refills. The food was wonderful - fresh, made to order, and high quality ingredients. Even had sweet potato fries at NO up charge! Will certainly stop in again when in the area! Excellent place!

Hops was recommended to me by a friend because of the great burgers. I found out, this place also has a weekly concoction of a burger they changes. I ordered the onion rings for an appetizer. These were ok. The breading was rich in flavor, however because the onion ring itself was so big, there wasn’t enough breading on it. So when you would pick one up, the breading would start to fall off. As for my main course, I went with the weekly special Santa Fe burger, and I had it with the bison burger. Cooked to absolute perfection. One bite, and I was hooked! I want to go back and try a burger on the menu!

Delicious burgers and interesting combinations. Lots of beers to choose from and delicious appetizers as well. The Buffalo wings are low key fantastic. Some of the best I've had outside of Buffalo. Get here early. It's a small place and it fills up fast.

Went here recently after a good long day of work. I hadn’t been to this location before. Great service, great food, and great times. Would recommend especially if you want a good burger.

I love Hop's Burger Bar! I enjoy coming here with my friends, or with family. The staff is very friendly and the food is very delicious!

I enjoyed my dining experience. I went on a Tuesday (today) around 2:30 pm when there wasn’t an abundance of people. The staff was friendly when entering and I sat outside due to the wonderful weather, which was enclosed. Tom was my server and he was attentive but not bothersome. The truffle parmesan fries were piping hot and the college hills blues burger was cooked to perfection (medium well). I’m not a burger connoisseur but I know a good burger when I need to satisfy the craving especially since I’ve been dieting for the abs! There are other options if meat is not your choice or need diet friendly choices. I subtracted a star due to the parking. It’s confusing and there are “strictly towing enforced” signs all over due to multiple restaurants. Overall, recommended if in Greensboro.

Food is always great. Cooked just as you order and tastes delicious. Original blends and add one for burgers. Best fries and goat cheese balls. Service is top notch and atmosphere is fun. Beer recommendations are always perfect. Bartenders are so talented. Huge beer choices local and NC

First time in and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the burger. Bloody Mary was good and had the option of spicy which I thoroughly enjoyed. Will def come back to try another burger.

Amazing burgers and the best fries with so many options available! I had the goat cheese burger with sweet chili sauce and I fell in love! Unusual ingredients perfectly paired and topping a juicy and flavorful burger with the thickest and smokiest bacon! Garlic parmesan fries were the perfect addition, served with Sam shading garlic aioli. I would love to try each burger option sometime!

I had read the reviews of this place and wanted to check it out. We had a party of six and since the restaurant doesn’t take reservations, I arrived in advance to put our names down. The wait was 40 minutes on Sunday afternoon, which is completely understandable. I received a text that the table was ready and went in with only one other person who had arrived (the other 4 were less than a mile away and were on their way). After telling him they were very close to the restaurant, the host who was a young, white guy (did not get his name) said they would have to skip over seating us until the entire party was present. This after waiting 40 minutes already and being told a large party will take a while to get in. The professionalism of the host was lackluster at best as he said “it’s our policy”. Hops Burger Bar Management, if this is in fact one of your policies, if you’d like to keep your high rating on Google, might I suggest a revision to this policy, or at least some additional training for your staff on how to work with customers. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere and will not be going back.

I visit Greensboro at least once a year to visit my school (Aggie Pride!) or a game. This place is always on my agenda. Love all their burgers but today I got the Spicy Goat, Diablo, and Steak Tuna Salad. 1st pic Diablo my favorite.

Really cool burger and beer restraunt. All the food was fresh, hot and great. The red onion rings were great, as was the mad haddock!. Tried the burge4s recently. Tried the burgers recently, and they were great. It's a bit smaller inside but still a good place to try for lunch or dinner.

This place is always good and well worth the prices! I like how they have different special burgers every time I go. The North Carolinian burger is my favorite!

Staff went out of their way to accommodate a large party at lunch. They did a great job talking care of us. Plus, the food was really good.

Throw a college bar atmosphere, fresh ground beef hamburgers creatively served with a long list of draft beers and you have described HOPS. My best meal in a long time.
