Hoody's Subs

Hoody's has the best cheese steak in Central Texas. The employees are always friendly it's my go to place when in the mood for a cheese steak.

Hoody's is a sandwich legend, it is the sub that all other subs strive to be. There is no measuring exactly how amazing Hoody's subs are, only because they are in a class all to their own, and to compare them to themselves would open a wormhole to subspace, ushering in our new sub overlords.

Yum! Really good. Seats are hard to fit in and its a small place. But staff is nice and food is good!

Giving 2 stars. Business only takes phone orders during COVID lockdown, understandable. 17m of busy signal, figure I'll drive to the shop and order at the door. Employee wouldn't take my order, suspected illeritacy, stated phone only. I mentioned the 17 minutes of busy signals and the employee stated that call waiting was too expensive. I though maybe this entire business should go back to 1995 and take a collective shower at the same time.

This has been the place for my Thursday Phillie cheese steak fix for a lot of years. If I go another day of the week I get the "special" sub. These are the best sub sandwiches I found in Texas. Now that I live out of state it is always on my list of stops when visiting.

I am so disappointed with you Hoody's. Why don't you have a location closer to me? Seriously. I have lived in Texas for 17 years, and became resigned that all hot sandwiches were going to be mushy microwave fodder. Now you come along and show me what is just an hour north of my normal path. Great. Now I have to go to Round Rock on the regular to get a sandwich fix.

Boar's Head meat, fast and friendly service. I love the phili cheese steak.(Did I spell that right?)

Delicious! The bread was fresh and everything was tasty. We all had the cheese steaks and we'll definitely go back.

I order a hot Italian sausage sub and it was very flavorful with fluffy bread! Tastes like a New York City sub. I liked it, but didn't LOVE it like some others may. I got mine to go, but the space is pretty small. I love the friendly neighborhood vibe they give with all the local awards and schools they support covering their walls.

This place is awesome. If you want to feel like you're in an old-school sub shop, come here. Not really sure what the ties between Philly and Norte Dame is, but I'm from the Midwest so I'll take it. Get the meatball sub, you won't regret it. Actually, get the large size so you'll have an extra sandwich for later.

The hot veggie grill is amazing! My kids will even eat them! If you have not been here, you are NOT living your best life! Go today...you will not regret it!

Sandwiches are always good especially if you get it heated. If you have a lot of veggies and sauce on it...prepare to use a lot of napkins! LOL!
