Hong Kong Restaurant

Hong Kong Restaurant has the most patient staff I have had the pleasure to meet. Great atmosphere great King Chicken dinner specials lunch specials & all around great time. I enjoy tea & crab cream cheese wanton is nothing to scoff at. Rice & any vegetable is a great way to be here. Great food & their bar/lounge is massive. Pool darts karaoke drinks & lots of laughs with great bar tenders makes this experience King Chicken in my thighs.

We eat in the Hong Kong all the time when we travel that way. However, this is the second time I’ve had their take out. First time was mediocre but this time was awful. The beef chowmein had these weird large chunks of meet not sliced like it always has been. It made it chewy and too much for a bite. The Mongolian beef is supposed to be lightly breaded with lotus flour and cooked crispy. It was not. It was in a heavy batter like orange beef. The walnut shrimp was also in a heavy breading and they had not used the same shrimp. It too was chewy and just too much. I hate heavy breading which is one of the reasons I eat there. I also do not like inconsistency. Some how the soup also spilt in the bag. The only thing I can say is it was still hot when it arrived with a small bit of rice for 3 meals. I will not be getting take out from them again for a long time to come.

Our family loves this restaurant! This is where we take our kids on special occasions and the food is always delicious. Our kids especially like the sesame chicken which I have to say is sweet and delicious. I couldn't recommend this restaurant more, especially since it is also owned by a lovely local family.
