Hollerbach's Willow Tree Cafe

Its a little pricey but crazy delicious. The schnitzel is on point. The deli and bakery items are also great. They have Nurnberger Brats! Its nice to get a little bit of nostalgia for the place I called home for 6 years of my life.

Despite all the fanfare and high yelp elite reviews, they very much deserve five stars. I've been coming here for years and years and have tried all the German fare around and still like them so much. Prost!!

The Willow Tree is definitely worth a visit if you want authentic German food. Other places play it off as German, whereas Willow Tree does it right. I speak from experience in that I've lived in Germany and am half-German.Back to the review: The menu is very extensive with a large beer selection! I also like that there are other options where one can enjoy German culture. Such as the marketplace, the clothing store, and the lodge that was recently opened. The Lodge is more of an 'adult' place what with it being a bar type deal, but you can still order from the full menu that the restaurant has to offer.I definitely recommend this locale for good food, good times, and good memories.

Always a great time. Service is always great. Highly suggest going when they do the live music. Schnitzel is great. The pretzel is sooo good! They serve it with this really yummy cheese and mustard. Get a boot to share, you'll never regret.

Got a suggestion to go here from a local resident musician. I cannot recommend this place enough. The new renovations were gorgeous, especially at night. The staff were friendly and dressed to impress. I live far away and will be back very soon, despite having several Bavarian restaurants in my town, this one has my heart. They menu is creative and the food was so reasonably priced. The mustard was amazing, the carrots were amazing, the brats were out of this world. I can't wait to try everything on the menu!

Some of the food items like the giant pretzel and the bratwursts are great. The rest of the food is just ok. Some of it tastes like it came directly from a can or frozen food section. The prices are reasonable. The service is fast but nothing too special. There is a weird moldy smell to the dining room.

We waited over an hour for our food, and were told it was due to the volume of the restaurant. Once the food came it was either ice cold or barely warm. We also waited several minutes for two of the dishes to come out after the bulk of the food was delivered.If you can't handle the volume of the restaurant you should close off a portion of it, to give quality service and product.

Authentic food, friendly service. Fair prices and great beer! Beautiful little bar area next door to get drinks while you wait for your table. Will be back every time we are in the area.

You can get good German meats and so much more at the market, New bar with a great menu, great beer,nice people, And the Restaurant has great German food. The best I have had in a long time. You will not be disappointed.

Having not been here for several years (do you moving away) we were very happy to see that this wonderful place is thriving.If you are in the mood for authentic German food, this is THE PLACE. Prices are great for the amount of food you get, the staff; friendly, knowledgeable and amazing! And while you’re at it, go next door to the German Market.

It is a bit pricey coming here however I enjoyed my lunch. Unfortunately the sauerkraut either had too much vinegar or white wine in it. The egg noodles here are the best!

I've never had sauerbraten before and am now a fan. My husband had two of the sausages and was very happy also. We ate in the new bar area which is beautiful. Good variety of beers. If you're not familiar tell them what you like and they'll figure It out!

More than friendly staff and Absolutely Amazing Dishes ! !Price is a little on the high side but reasonable.The Atmosphere is calm and inviting from the street. The staff is more than friendly and always in a good mood . . . .reminds me of when employees truly enjoyed their job and the business they work for.A definite place to see in Sanford and eat your German heart out ! !Keep on doing what your doing, because it's working !Thumbs UP all the way around !
