Fresh authentic food prepared right. If you like spiciness, they've got it! Members of our group we're planning what to eat before we arrived. We all enjoyed the food here.

This spot is one of my favorites! Convenient prices, considerable portions and the employees are regularly kind.

Love this little sushi restaurant in Chestnut Hill. Their sushi is delicious and their waitstaff is friendly. They have happy hour specials too!

They got rid of happy hour (which is still listed on their website). I don't see a reason to go there especially without it.

The portions are smaller than my favorite sushi place, Osaka. But they charge the same. It wasn’t bad but I’ve had better. A lot of their sushi rolls have spicy tuna and tempura in the ingredients, which I love but I wish there was more of a variety. Osaka was my absolute favorite and it was so close to home. I wouldn’t go back to Hokka Hokka not because it wasn’t good but it’s just not the same or better than Osaka. I’ll have to continue my search for a really good sushi spot.

I love their sushi. It is very astounding. I order here a lot. I highly reccomend this place because their food and service is good.

Seaweed salad very good. Teriyaki a bit boring. Dumplings okay. Sushi good. Nice ambiance.

Holy smokes, I'm in love! The atmosphere is what lured me in, but even after ordering at random off their crazy elaborate menu I ended up loving everything. This makes for a really romantic date spot and I will be coming back. Pro tip: don't fill up on the ademame even though it's seriously good. Save room for sushi!

Definitely a spot worth stopping over, the food is good and well prepared, the prices are convenient and it is regularly well kept in here. Keep up the good work.

High quality food cooked to perfection with great service.

I liked my special roll (pictured). My fiance ordered two rolls and one of them was not what he ordered, it had lobster on it, definitely wrong. He ate it anyway and liked it. We ended up sitting at the bar and I was glad we did. We got quick attentive service at the bar and it looked like folks at the tables were not getting the same service. Overall it was just alright, nothing great, probably going to look for a better sushi experience in the area.

Really good Japanese food at a great price and in a cozy environment!We had their bento box lunches and they were absolutely delicious and big in portion. In particular the Beef Negimaki Teriyaki bento were sooo good. The beef is wrapped into the shape of a sushi with some vegetable and sauce inside. It was so tender and juicy. We were absolutely blown away with this dish! Our regret of the trip to Philadelphia is that we did not get a chance to return back to this restaurant to have this bento again!The other bento was a salmon teriyaki bento. It was equally good, a very well pan fried salmon, crispy skin and soft tender interior.Great great Japanese restaurant. Highly recommended!
