Hog's Breath Inn

Like so many hidden gems in the Carmel-By-the Sea, I loved this place. Food was very nice, and above all, the place was so pretty, especially seen from the entrance above. Be sure to visit it.

Good service. Margarita was tasty. I had the Turkey sandwich. YUM! Wife had the salmon sandwich. She said most and good flavor. It wasn't busy when we went, but based on this experience I'll be back for sure!

Nostalgic place to eat with a lot of Clint Eastwood memorabilia. You have to order the Dirty Harry meal of course. But you have to ask yourself, Do you feel hungry punk!? Lol

Walk down the stairs to a very sweet atmosphere with anoutside covered patio with heaters. More seating inside and across the patio is the bar. Food was good but the server was not very attentive especially after our initial order. By the time we got her attention we just asked for the bill. Food was good and the atmosphere was very nice so I would go back. Hopefully better seevice.

Clint Eastwood nailed it with the delicious food and ambiance with the inside outside dining areas you just can't get anywhere else. Absolutely worth the trip.

Had a lovely lunch on the patio. My husband heard of this place & really wanted to check it out while we were in Carmel. I had a lovely Monterey Chicken Sandwich with onion rings and my husband had a tuna melt with fries. Both were very tasty. My husband had a Bacon Bloody Mary and I had the wheat beer. We enjoyed both. I would definitely come back.

Great spot! Great scenery, cozy and different. Good amount of outdoor seating and indoor. Outdoor patio is the best. Great drinks and reasonable prices for the area.

Decent bar and American food. Quality slightly inconsistent. Outdoor seating atmosphere near gas fireplaces is very nice. Clint Eastwood >>used to be<< a partner. Has Eastwood memorabilia. Good wait staff. Worth a try.

Dinner was decent, not the best and not the worst. We had fish and chips and skate, as well as the calamari. Nothing incredibly exciting to speak of and I'd probably recommend other places in town on a quiet weekend like our most recent visit (although in the summer, it is a blast to be outside/at the bar).
