Nice local hidden-gem Japanese restaurant loved by also business people from near offices (just avoid their lunch peak time 12PM to 1PM, then you can enjoy the ambiance of the cosy space! ) English Menu is available and they offer lots of popular Japanese dishes such as Sushi(good vinegar flavor),Udon(fine umami soup),and Eel rice bowl(using secret sauce). Katsu-don(Tonkatsu rice bowl) using local famous pork called "Yamato pork" is really tasty!

An ordinary set meal shop. The taste is also delicious. But maybe a little expensive.

I found this restaurant on tripadvisor and visited with my friend. We orderd and shared Unajuu (Teriyaki eel and rice ), and Tonkatsu rice.Tonkatsu was so soft, juicy and elaborately deep-fried. We asked "Omori(large portion service of rice and cabbage with no extra charge) portion, so we recommend you to ask for "Omori". Unagi (eel) was Kansai(West Japan) style cooked, and was also very soft. Its sauce was so nice with "Sansho" (Japanese pepper)flavor. The owner chef only speaks Japanese, but he had time to explain us that he only uses "Yamato pork" (Nara's local certified pork) raw bread crumbs for Tonkatsu. Unajuu sauce was his secret! Ambience of the interior is also traditional and cozy, and I definitely come back and use this restaurant with other friends!
