Hiroshima Miraizaka Hondori

It is exactly what you would expect from a restaurant from the Watami chain. In that way this is as reliable as it gets. The service is good and fast, the staff is friendly, they speak English if necessary. The regular menu is available in a condensed English version, too. The food is decent and tasty, and you can pretty much rely on what you get if you have ever been to another store of the chain. Nomihoudai is also an inexpensive option, they even have a foreigner special if you can't or don't want to choose. If you are looking for something casual and reliable; this is a very good option.

Fast and cheap service, but it's still just a chain Izakaya. Better food to be found elsewhere.
