Want to know how to frustrate customers? Take too many orders on Mother’s Day and run 90 minutes behind. . Went to pickup food supposed to be ready at 6. There were at least 30 people out front. And a line of 20 people inside just to check in to tell them you were there to pick up food. HOT MESS. No idea when food will be ready. Ugh.

Great at what they specialize in. Most filler menu items are a bit plain. My favourite item on the menu is probably the west cost shrimp!

Really happy with the service and the sushi. We hadn't gone back to Hiro 88 for many years since a big issue with the haymarket location but decided to give this location a try and it went very well and we were happy.

Very fresh, delicious variety of sushi and great atmosphere. Every employee we encountered was pleasant, and they even allowed us to have our dogs (leashed and well-mannered) with us on the terrace. Loved that! The menu had plenty of items for those that don't want sushi. A favorite at our table was the pork bun appetizer. Highly recommend!

Sushi is medium. Staff is nice. The place looks good, so I guess that is why the food is pricy. I wouldn’t go there for good sushi. I would rather eat at Grey Whale’s Sushi, even though it is not as fancy as Hiro. Lower prices or improve your sushi quality. That way I can feel it is worth spending my money.

Called ahead with our order. Very good prompt service under the new virus guidelines. Check out went fast, plenty of room to space out appropriately inside. No Google/Apple Pay availability. Pay inside, wait in parking lot for your food. Mongolian Beef & Imperial Shrimp were very well prepared.

I've eaten here twice with family. Both times the food has been excellent and service has been great. The prices seem very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Definitely would recommend if you want Asian food in the Lincoln area.

Was visiting town and this place was recommended. After choosing something on the drink menu I was promptly told it was unavailable due to not having the correct Sake. No offers for substitutions or recommendations on different drinks. When ordering food, asked about substituting fried rice instead of steamed rice, was again told no.

This place is overrated and overpriced. $80 for four meals that were the equivalent of Panda Express on a bad day. The breaded chicken in the sweet and sour and sesame chicken was soggy and mushy, and the fried rice looked and tasted like it was scraped off the bottom of the pan. I can’t speak for the sushi but if it’s anything like the traditional food save your money. I guess it’s to be expected in the middle of the US. I’ll be sticking with the quality restaurants of Seattle, LA, or Vegas.

Twice I've been here and sat at the bar. Both times literally some of the worst service I've ever had. Currently sitting here in a mostly empty restaurant with an empty drink and a filled out menu, and neither of the 2 bartenders has came up to me in over 15 minutes. Absolutely pathetic.

One thing I really hate is when a restaurant limits seating on slow nights and places you right next to the four other parties dining there. It does not make for a quiet enjoyable meal when you are sitting next strangers and see lots of other tables that are available. And the kicker was that we all had different waitresses. The food wasn't special enough to make up for this either. It's been a few days since we were there and I can't even remember what I had.

Had a yummy lunch. Only took one star away bc they aren't kid friendly. I have been to both locations and it's almost as if they went out of their way to make you feel uncomfortable bringing kids. No kids bento box, no milk. When we went to the downtown location the acted disgusted when we asked for a high chair which they didnt have. That being said It's a beautiful restaurant and the kids loved the lo mien and edamame.

We've been there a few times at dinner and it has been all right in the past. Really enjoy their happy hour options. Went today at lunch and was disappointed by the service, but the food was delicious. Both our waitress and the person refilling waters avoided our table pretty much the whole meal. Had someone I thought was a manager deliver our salads and dishes for soy, the waitress either forgot or couldn't be bothered. This was after asking to see our waitress.

I must start by saying we eat at Hiro 88 all of the time. After looking over the wine menu I had no clue of the differences in wine, all the wine on the menu was $6-$8 per glass. I am not much of a wine drinker and do not know my wine so I asked for a recommendation on a glass of wine that wasn’t dry. The waitress recommended a wine called Prisoner they have on special. I need to add we where there for happy hour so special to me means on Happy Hour or discounted. When I got our bill the one glass of wine was $13. Okay my mistake for not asking for the cost but seriously $13. Paid the bill and started to walk out when I asked the manager about the cost of wine, I have never been treaded so poorly by a manager as she was very rude! Didn’t even offer to comp the wine just said ya that’s what it is! Which lead me to write this review. Sorry Hiro there are a lot of places serving Sushi these days that don’t push $13 glasses of wine with rude managers.

Ordered Take out and was very unimpressed. The sushi that we ordered was good but the other entrees lacked so many things. Our meals were dry, cold, bland, and they forgot multiple things that we had ordered. When we called about the missing items, no charge was taken off of our check. Likely will not order from again.
