Happened to chance upon this restaurant at Robertson Walk and decided to walk in, seeing how cozy and traditional it seemed. Service was prompt and friendly. Food came quickly and was amazing; their signature fish was also really good! My partner and I opted for the $35++ free flow drinks package; very worth the $$ if you enjoy beer, highball and sake! Special mention that they do very good Whiskey Highballs; not watered down at all! Will recommend!

Drinks and very good tuna ! $35-$55 for free flow. Good selection of apps and fish. The $50 tuna fish fresh cut was amazing and highly recommended. The service was good considering the size of our party and frequency of refills. I'd come back to explore the menu more from food and drinks :)

I can never remember the name of this place but whenever I’m in Singapore, and staying in the Robertson Quay area, I would naturally end up here ordering up some grilled squid and Japanese fried chicken. Authentic and delicious, this is one of the reasons why Singapore is one of the best places in the world to enjoy a Japanese meal outside of Japan. The place is called Himono-ya, inside Robertson Walk.

Food is very fresh and taste quite good. Service was great. Portion can be on the smaller side for some. Can walk in during weekdays. Price is on the high side. Parking is easy to find on a weekday evening. Great ambiance for conversations and private gathering.
