Hillsboro Pharmacy Fountain

Rating this place 4 stars as a restaurant. I didn't need to use this place as a pharmacy. The actual grill hours are limited and the seating is not very comfortable but the milk shakes and root beer floats were delicious.

It was my wife's first time in and they decided to stop by for some ice cream cones. The staff where two women, one very young and the other looked as if she were the manager. The service was very dull and made my wife feel like she wasn't welcomed. My wife had left one of her credit cards at home and she almost made it seem like my wife would take off without paying. In addition they were talking about what had to be cleaned in front of customers, we thought this was very unprofessional. The bathroom was a mess. Would rather go to cold stone or Baskin robins. We will not be coming back.

The shop may be old school with a soda fountain, but they really ought to stop dispensing prescription medications. Never in my life have I experienced such a long string of inexplicable incompetence for seemingly simple (and routine) tasks related to pharmaceutical work.Do yourself a favor and get your prescriptions filled elsewhere. If you have NO OTHER choice then make sure you: count the number of pills they give you, check three times before coming in that they have your prescription form, have it in stock, and have been able to find you in their antiquated system, and finally that they are even open according to their posted hours.SMH.
