Good place to go and eat home made meals.Good selection of vegetables and meats.

The food is always fresh. We had not visited this place in ten years and the only thing that changed was the decor. The staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was friendly and as always the food was great. We had friends join us so, we needed to changed tables, the staff moved everything for us.

This was the first time I went to HPC since my husband passed away. We had a meeting there once a month and then enjoyed lunch afterwards. I found everyone smiling, friendly and attentive. The food was good and the staff was excellent.🥗🍛

The food and all the choices are wonderful and we loved the piano music but it's just too pricey. Wish they had Senior Discounts other than just 2:30 - 4:30 during the week.

Cafeterias used to be all over the city.This one was the best one back then.It's like walking back in time. Everything is still fresh and new. There's still a great pianist playing a grand. The food is awesome 👌 made from scratch and the variety is good for everyone. Do yourself a favor and go there.

Great environment and super welcoming service. The meals were fresh and enchanting. Will easily recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Reasonable prices and big meals. Good job.

I never rate anything, but HPC was utter perfection! The music, excellent service and the food was heavenly! Thank you, HPC for maintaining high standards!

Fried chicken cutlet with cheese, green onion, bacon and scalloped potatoes and macaroni/cheese and tea. It was great tasting but.......it was $15.74 for 2 sides 1 meat and tea nothing else a bit high but food was good

The food felt like from Grandma's house. Well priced live piano playing and the best server named Sparkle...she fit her name and will be back again. This time with our kids

One of my favorite places for tasty american food. Stopped in on a Monday I think. I'll return friends next time. It has a good interior.

We tried Highland Park Cafeteria for the first time today. It's priced similar to Luby's, and has been a Dallas institution since 1925. Glad we finally found it!I ordered the catfish, and my husband's opted for the chicken fried chicken entree. I was impressed that the chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken are cooked to order and that bumped the quality above your average cafeteria fare. The rolls far outshine the cornbread but other than that, we had no regrets about our selections. If you like buttermilk pie, theirs isn't too sweet unlike most places.

My mother and I come here every few weeks. It’s always the same, good food and good service. My mother loves the live piano music, which is her favorite part of the meal. There’s plenty of parking. They apparently have large private rooms available.
