High Peak Asian Restaurant

I am new to Lincoln and Nebraska in general. This place is authentic! If you want real food from Burma or Thailand this is the place to go. Everything is so fresh, my stomach was so full towards the end, but if I was able to order more I would have. If you need a kick of spice in your life, go here, you won't regret it.

Not sure why there are so many five stars.

I visited my friend from Lincoln, NE and they took me to this restaurant and I would say, out of all restaurants I’ve been to, this one has the best price, along with amazing taste of the food. The food takes me back to my hometown Thailand. I’m so glad to be taken here for dine in. If I am from Lincoln, I’d come here very often. Surprisingly, they have the Kid’s menu, so if you not a big eater but like trying out new foods and not sure of the taste, definitely go for the kid’s menu. Will for sure be coming back the next time I visit.

Great restaurant, food very tasty, got the shrimp skillet for appetizer and was super fire, got the curry chicken soup for entree and was amazing, got level 7 spice, was a little weak, so next time I will go higher, I like my spice so if you're looking for a good burn 7 or higher way to go. Will return, great service, very friendly!

Delicious! I had the samosas, burmese lamb curry stew and coconut rice. It was all very flavorful and the heat was perfect. (I ordered 8/10, I like it spicy) I will be comingb back a lot

I don't think their food is anything amazing . I also cannot believe how people are treated from the workers. I waited 2 hours for my food. People behind me got food before me. The front girl, didn't want to be there, got mad plenty of times, didn't give anyone the time of the day, didn't speak loud and slow for anyone to hear, she rushed her words, she looked like she hated her life, she wouldn't even look at you. We had to ask to order and to see where our food was at. No communication at all. The phones were ringing non stop with no one picking it up. They need more staff first of all, but they need to train their front staff some customer service.

The food is so fresh and tastes wonderful.

Food is delicious, but it takes very long to get! We keep going back for the food though. The yellow curry is great!

I got the Garlic broccoli with the spice on #5 🔥🥦👍That was yuuummm!! Going back for sure but you gotta go early in the afternoon bc it fills up fast.

First and last time eating here. To start, the server was extremely rude. She did not offer to take a drink order. She brought waters and did not ask if we wanted anything else to drink. We attempted to order appetizers and were told that she was unsure if they had any or not that day. We ordered and asked that she check for us. She never came back to confirm or deny. When our meals were brought out, only half the table was served and it was quite a while before the others were served their meal. The beef was so over cooked it was hard and black. The other meals were simply not good. We will not return. Yuck!

Got the chicken kebat and samosa soup with coconut rice. Wow, it was all so yummy! The chicken kebat was tomato-y and tangy and the samosa soup was flavorful and definitely different than anything I've had before. I surprisingly loved the coconut rice even though I'm not much for coconut-it was a slightly sweet sticky rice with more of a hint of coconut I'd say. Overall I loved the food much more than I thought I would.

Ok this might be long but I cannot believe this place has a 4.5 star average!! So my cousin and I go there for dinner as we don’t get to see each other much and this place had good reviews. We get there, wait 25 ish minutes to order and we ask for drinks but the waiter states he is too busy to get us drinks.. well another hour goes by and we finally get the appetizers along with my cousins food.. another 25 minutes goes by and I finally get my food. Mind you , we were never told they had a wait.. was the food good.. yes .. was it hot.. meh, not really!!! We honestly could have walked out at that point and not paid as the waiter wasn’t keeping track bec the phone was ringing sooo much. We wait another 20 minutes in line and the waiter asks if we have a pick up.. no dude.. we need to pay and he says what did you have!!!!!! As we leave we notice a little piece of paper and I mean little piece of paper for incoming customers that states.. too busy for dine-in !!!

Great food marred by sub-par atmosphere and nonexistent service. If you're ordering take-out, great. Otherwise skip dining in a hot room with no music while the waitress barely acknowledges you.

The Chicken Larb was AMAZING! I asked them to bring the heat and I was not disappointed. It is so difficult to make a dish spicy and maintain the flavor. They did a perfect job. Such a great place for Burmese and Thai food! More people need to know about this great restaurant!......Also as a side note because I read some critical reviews. If you want 'fast' service go the Panda Garden but if you want really well prepared authentic food with great flavor then eat at High Peak Asian!
