Had a most excellent time seeing live blues on a fall day that seemed more like winter. Music room is intimate and thus a great place to see a band. We did not eat, but they had a good menu and a well stocked bar. Service was attentive but did not interrupt the music experience.

This place was a ton of fun. My sister and I weathered the first major storm of the year to watch the Beaver Lodge, Variety show. We booked a quick reservation and gave ourselves enough time to eat in the restaurant beforehand. We split the four cheese spinach fondue, calamari and chicken & Brie sandwich. The service was great, food was delicious and ambiance was a cool vibe with happy people all around. We enjoyed the show and I’d love to visit again. Show is worth the ticket!!! Funny & entertaining which rounded out a perfect sister trip.

Not too big - not too small , just right for a little conversation with music. Nice wine and variety beer list. Staff a little under trained, but friendly. Visit them soon before everyone discovers Hey Nonnys' cool factor!

I’ve had the opportunity to attend two wonderful bluegrass brunches at HeyNonny and had a great experience on both occasions! From the excellent food to the great customer service, I highly recommend this restaurant and bar for brunch, music and a great meal with friends! Enjoy.

First visit date nite at the bar, great ambiance, cool bartenders, and the local food is delicious & clean. Next brought Mom & Dad - easy to make reservation on Google, along with great food and service again. Lol my family is particular with our plates, and Ken did a great job accommodating. A passer by happened to be my aunt, and I brought her in, found out it was her birthday, and Ken brought us cake! So cool, highly recommend, and will go for the music one evening. Another gem in Downtown Arlington!

Nice venue with a tasty menu. The Nonny burger and Chicken sandwich were very tasty. Then we went into the music venue and heard a very fine jazz group, The Jacobi Family. Watch for them again some day. Great sound in the room! We'll be back for more jazz nights.

We had a really enjoyable meal here! Nice atmosphere, solid food with good portion size. We came for restaurant week, and they had a good selection. They do a decent job of insulating you from the live music next door, but you'll definitely hear if there's someone playing.Would definitely come back. Lots of things on the menu look good, and we want to try them!

This place is such a hidden gem for brunch in the burbs! The chicken and waffles, and shrimp and grits are amazing! The bands have all been great. I love their promotions like riding bikes to Nonny and showing your helmet for free breakfast cocktail. They do such a great job innovating and coming up with fun ideas! I wasn't as impressed with dinner at Nonny's. We had the airline chicken and the rice tasted like Elmer's paste. There was no amount of salt and pepper at the table that could save it. It could have been a one-time miss by the chef. The other meals at dinner were ok, but not eat-out worthy. I will try dinner there again sometime though. They truly hit it out of the park with such a great breakfast/brunch, that I'm sure the dinner food will catch up at some point!

Been here twice, great place with a great staff and awesome food! While I haven't attended a music event yet the band warming up tonight proved there is a good sound system in there. Might try the bluegrass brunch this Saturday.Try the calamari and the smoked trout jar, you won't be disappointed.

Great restaurant. Delicious food and amazing management. Garret, the general manager at this restaurant made us feel like we were coming to his home to dine. He was so pleasant and accommodating to my husband and I. He moved our table for us when we asked even though it was just the two of us. He gave us a great table right near the window. I ordered the shrimp and scallops, and my husband ordered the airline chicken. We also got an order of the baked mac and cheese to try. Both dishes were heavenly. The baked mac and cheese has a bit of a smokey flavor which was pleasantly different that your typical mac and cheese. Our waitress was also incredible and very attentive. We will definitely be back to Nonny's, hopefully next time for a brunch.

What a great place in the NW suburbs where you can go for dinner and see live music. The owners did a great job bring a place that you would have to normally go into the city for out to the NW suburbs.

Nice place. Food was good. I was expecting more bar type food. Should have checked the menu before hand. Parking sucks, but that is not the fault of the restaurant. There was no live music while we were there. Piped in music was very loud, but they did turn it down so we could talk.

We came with 4 adults / 5 kids and saw a great one-man band! The ambiance was great and windows open felt nice to hear live music and let the kids dance around. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is they offer a kids menu - but it's not targeted to kids. The grilled cheese is Gouda (and even my adventurous eaters don't like the taste) and the flatbread was not a 'pizza' It would be great if they developed a kid-friendly kids menu - we'd be there probably every weekend!

Questions & Answers

Yes to both questions. The Sunday afternoon show this weekend (and probably all others as well) is listed as 'All Ages' and the brunch is family friendly as well.

Joe's got it right. Closed on Mondays.

For evening shows, the parking garage is free. Just park in any spot except one that says "Permit Parking Only"
