Hertel Avenue Poutine & Cream

Incredible food! Had nacho poutine, a burger, and a shake. Amazing atmosphere, super delicious everything! You HAVE to come here. Super worth the trip!

This place was awesome- we stopped after a baseball game with the kids and grabbed a quick dinner. The poutine was great and the shakes were amazing! The owner stopped by each table and chatted with the customers. It’s also dog friendly (on the patio) with outdoor seating. We’ll make it a point to return next time we’re in the area. The freakshakes are insane. Thank goodness we walked because they don't hold back on the nice cream. Can't come to Buffalo without having one.

They have delicious poutine and a nice variety as well!! My favorite is Buffalo Chicken Poutine and Stinger poutine with the buffalo chicken and onions on it!! They also have fantastic fancy sundaes!!

I had Poutine for the first time. It was a delicious experience. We ordered the traditional, grandma's style and buffalo style poutines. The traditional one was the best. We ordered the small bowl and that was quite a lot. We also had freak shakes, choco brownie and cookie shake. Both were great.

After visiting Montreal for a weekend, I was craving a poutine and decided to order one from here. I was pleasantly surprised with the poutine options and at how yummy it was. I ordered my poutine to go, so when I got home the cheese was very melted. I would have preferred more cheese curds but maybe it wouldn't have been so melted if I ate there. Customer service was pretty good. The shakes and ice cream looked amazing, I will definitely be going back to try one. I would also come back for a poutine but would want to try it there to see if the curds stayed whole.

Great tasting, lots of flavors of poutine. I had stinger poutine and breakfast cream bun. Great little spot on a cold winter day. Staff was great. And yep, that's capn crunch on the ice cream!

The food was great! The person who took our order was pleasant and knowledgeable/enthusiastic about the different ice creams they had and make. 10/10 will buy again.

Amazing place for ice cream! The place is cozy and it has a outdoor patio. It was my first time going and the server explained how to order. They have a great variety of ice cream flavors and other dessert options. Order a small cookie and cream ice cream on a waffle cone. It was amazing, perfect amount for a dessert! Will definitely stop by whenever I’m around Hertel Ave.

Definitely a case of quality over quantity. Ordered a Pork Burger and strawberry shake. Came out to just under $17. Shake is small, but rich and flavorful. The burger is probably the best I have had in years. Came with forks, because it is messy. Super friendly staff. This Place!!! My husband and I each got a different poutine so we could experience double the deliciousness. They were amazing and unlike anything we've had before. The place was clean and is truly making the world a better place by using nonplastic utensils and straws. We loved this and the staff was friendly. We will absolutely be coming back. What a wonderful time to be alive!
