Hersh's

I gave Hersh’s 5 stars over a year ago. Today, they proved themselves great again! They messed up my order but i didn’t realize until i got home. They offered to either take the pizza off the receipt or make a new one. I chose to get another pizza since I don’t live too far away. It was ready promptly and they threw in a Caesar salad! The pizza and salad were delicious.

Hersh's is the best pizza I've had in the entire USA, maybe the world. Hands down. No competition. If you live in Washington, D.C. like I do, it's worth the drive just for the pizza.It's a neighborhood joint in an industrial part of Baltimore. They have plenty of space inside, including a bar, and outdoor patio seating. Since the weather was nice, we sat outside and it was perfect.They have an excellent drink list with hard cider included. I ordered a rare cider from the UK and it was the best I've ever had. Wow. So crisp and refreshing.The pizza I ordered was the sausage pizza and wow. It was perfectly made with the best dough you'll ever have. I wanted them to bring Nutella out so I could dip it in chocolate. It was so good.If you need good pizza, drive, fly or run to Hersh's!
