Amazing restaurant! The atmosphere was inviting and quiet and the food was DELICIOUS! Our server was very knowledgeable and helped us with our questions (we were a big group). The cheese board is a must when you come here. And get the full board, you don't want to miss any of the options. The food portions for the big plates were pretty big! No one regretted any of their choices. The dessert were phenomenal but the portions were tiny.Overall, a place that I'd recommend and definitely come back to

Stuck at home? Heritage Tavern does amazing take out. We got the family bbq and everything was great and leftovers for easily a second meal. I highly recommend a break with their awesome take out.

Low-key one of my favorite restaurant in Madison- mostly for brunch!! The French toast are Phenomenal! It’s kind of like bread pudding but crunchy and option to come with maple ice cream! The “winter omelet” was absolutely delicious. It’s a bit pricey but extremely HIGH quality, very delicious food!! Need to try dinner here sometime! Also, need to try the bloody Mary’s because they have a ton of different types of them and they seem to have some fun, speciality brunch drinks!

We had an awesome dinner during restaurant week. The food was excellent and the cocktails were well thought out. Of all the courses, the dessert hit the nail on the head. A little pricey but you get what you pay for; super tasty food and great service. Looking forward to coming back for regular service.

We thoroughly enjoyed the family BBQ meal from the Fitchburg location. We had never been to the restaurant before and love great BBQ. I went to pick up our meal as my husband much safer at home after surviving lung cancer. The team had pick up down to a contactless art that made me feel very safe and were just plain nice.Everything was pippingh and ready to be plated after my 20 minute drive home.The sides were my favorite part of the meal. The cornbread was amazing: moist and buttery. I loved the variety of the beans. The coleslaw was tangy and delightful. The cookie and bar assortment is very generous. We have leftovers for at least another meal.

The best taste I have ever had in Madison. Elegant and flavorful. Waiters are super friendly and helpful!

Great flavors, and interesting combinations, but very pricey. Our server seemed mildly irritated with us all evening which did not add to the experience. Interesting to try, but probably would not return.

Delicious food and great service! Started with the bacon-wrapped cheese curds and had the striploin for the entree. Both were great. Beer selection is okay. Dessert was over priced in my opinion for what you got, although it was delicious as well.

Great brunch options and drink menu. It's definitely not a cheap place, but the cost isn't bad. I loved my food, no complaints here.

Outstanding service, from the host to our server to the bartender (who whipped up a great cocktail based on flavor profiles we gave her). Excellent food with really creative dishes. The crisp pork belly was amazing and the deviled eggs were some of the most interesting (in the good way) I've ever seen or tasted. I only wish the portions were a bit bigger especially for a small plates/shareable concept -- some dishes were oddly small and others were awkward to split between four people.

Heritage tavern downtown is my favorite brunch place ever, but we recently tried the takeout BBQ from the fitchburg location, and it was absolutely delicious. Not only is everything they make amazing, but their people are always so friendly as well.

I loved the atmosphere at Heritage. Despite being on street level it almost has a speakeasy feel to it, cozy and secret, while still being well-lit and not too noisy. The food was very good and the service was very attentive. My favorite was probably the flourless chocolate cake dessert. I paired it with the maple ice cream my dinner partner got and wow.

Great food. If you have allergies, let the server know. They will make a dish that is great tasting and allergy free for you.

Food was amazing. Service was great. The deviled eggs were the best I have ever had and both meals were memorable. We will definitely be back.
