Hello Bistro

Stopped by Hello Bistro for a solo lunch today. I had the "salad your way". There is a plethora of toppings! Huge portions! Super friendly staff. However, the seating arrangement is less than desired. The outside seating is horrible with 3 tables packed into a small area. Inside, it is so loud that you can hardly hear yourself think.

Eating dinner at Hello Bistro in Upper St Clair and had a very odd experience. My children, ages 13 & 16, were denied small salads because you have to be under 10 for a small salad. When they told the cashier they wouldn’t eat that much, the cashier said “to get a large [salad] and eat half.” When told that would be wasteful, the cashier said to order a large salad and split in 2 with a $2 charge for another container. Very odd though good food. Wasteful food policy when required to buy large salads.

Soups, sandwiches, and a vety large salad bar. Staff is very young and somewhat spaced out, but the concept is sound. You get a choice of three kinds of greens and then 55 toppings. They chop them to order and give you as much dressing as you want from about 15 different ones. High ceiling lead to loud noise level and the music blaring dies not h help

Love your salads but have had my second ordering disaster tonight. After waiting for 40 minutes, my order was not “placed” with a confirmation email. However, after getting home, the change was on my card as well as the second salad I had to reorder and pay for after waiting. I tried calling several times and just got a recording that the voicemail was not yet setup. Bummer experience.

This restaurant is very clean. They are also great at handling allergies (inform them when you order or when they start preparing your salads) by changing gloves and prepare salads on the allergy boards. I also like the atmosphere at this restaurant and the acoustics. Somehow even when my children are somewhat loud at the table not too many people notice. Not sure if it's the acoustics or just people being understanding but either way it has us coming back. Excellent food and the fries are amazing.

Food is good. However, there is no consideration for their customers. There was so much noise in the place (employees banging around things) that i could hardly eat.

Whenever I go there I always have to get their shrimp salad. It is always good and fresh. One of the best quick salads they have. And just tried their strawberry lemonade and absolutely addicted to the taste! I want to eat their food everyday.

Portions are enormous! All kinds of great options for salads, burgers and sandwiches.

Great place. Wonderful staff.

I come to hello bistro all the time. I always order a buffalo chicken salad and add olives. I placed my order as usual and after sitting down one of the staff members came over and gave me a hard time about adding olives to the salad. She then charged me $1.10 to add the ovlies after I had already paid.

My wife lives their salads, but they overcooked my burger.

Excellent salad at decent price.

Awesome salads and burgers for the price! They have those classic sodas as well.

Not so different from other places. Cafeteria style ordering, food brought to table. Decent food with no real frills

I had not heard of this place until my wife suggested we stop here for dinner. I was impressed, their selection of burgers, sandwiches, and salads are incredible. It's all made fresh right in front of you, and the price is more than reasonable. It's a wonderdul cross between a sit down meal setting and grab and go. Give it a try!
