Heart of Portugal Restaurant

For catered events they offer large quantities of food for very reasonable prices. Excellent quality Portuguese food and the staff even helped decorate for our event. Great service , great food, and friendly staff!

This is one of the great restaurants in my village. We went there once before and decided to pay them a visit again. Their staff is very cordial and accommodating. Specially our host Marcella was excellent. Food is good as ever; plus environment and ambiance is very nice.

If I could give no stars I would. First off when reservations were made there was no mention of the main dining room being renovated nor on the website so we sat in the bar area. Very tight area. The table was right next to the kitchen area. My mom and I ordered the Veal Chop only to be told they only had 1 so my mom took the chop. I ask about another veal dish and was told they had no more veal. This is at 5:00PM dinner time. So I took the skirt steak. The chop was grizzle and fat and the steak was so tuff. They should not be open during renovations to serve food since the quality was terrible. We've been coming here on and off for years and this was the worst experience ever. We were not even offered some compensation on the bill for this sub-standard food but they automatically posted a 20% gratuity plus if we would like to add additional gratuity. Are you kidding me!!!!!!I do not see my family coming back anytime soon.
