Haymaker Public House

The spicy chicken sandwich is great, the cookies are amazing, the pickle spear was crunchy. Pretty much what I hoped for going for lunch. Place was nice and quiet, not busy, music wasn't loud, and service was quick. Would recommend for quick bar food.

Excellent food and service at average Ann Arbor lunch prices. The beer selection is usually really good too.

One of my favorite pubs out in Ann Arbor! They have games - dart boards - beer and pretty good food! They have a platter of all fries - and they are amazing! Great place to check out and chill with your buds or make new ones!

I was so excited to try the new place out and it was the biggest let down ever. I am all about not getting stupid, massive portions but this was ridiculous. Everything but the pretzel was tiny. Sandwiches were minuscule. Fried chicken was ONE thigh, with bone. You will over pay and leave hungry. The service was ungodly slow.

Love Haymaker. Just a relatively small sports bar with good bartenders and a regular evening crowd. Clean, decent bar food and reasonable prices. Best happy hour around (half price ALL drinks). I'm not really in to it but; they have themed trivia almost every evening (like Friends or Harry Potter or It's Always Sunny) which draws enough people that it's hard to find a seat sometimes. But haven't seemed to be doing it lately. So if that something your in to probably a good bet. They also have 2 steel tip dart boards and board games for free. When I am downtown it's my first choice for happy hour.

Great food but even more amazing service. My friends and I had the best waitress, Tara, yesterday. Technically she's the supervisory/bartender but she was phenomenal. She was extremely knowledgeable on the beer selections and made the most delicious fruit loops pixie shots for us! She was hands down one of the best waitresses I've had.

Worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. All the tables around us seemed to get great service, but after taking our appetizer order, our waitress didn't come to our table again for an hour and a half! I think we were seated in between two server stations and totally got forgotten. Despite trying to flag our waitress down several times, she just totally ignored us.Unacceptable. If we hadn't been there for a trivia night, there's no way we would have stayed.

Great service! Pickle fries are unrivaled! We're not sure if we were more wowed by the cut, or the French fry batter. Knowledgeable staff as well.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food here. I had very low expectations for bar food but the chicken and waffles is one of the best meals that I've had in Ann Arbor in a long time.

Ordered lunch from Haymakers today. It was one of the worst meals I have had in a very very long time. Both my colleague and I ordered french fries that came soggy and looked barely cooked. I ordered fish and it had a very strong odor. I didn't eat one bite. I was able to call grub hub and get my money back but when I called the assistant manager at Haymakers they blamed it all on the delay of the grub hub delivery driver. the food quality is still very poor and has nothing to do with it being cold.
