Harrows Chicken Pies

Went to the store in Medford Ma this past Sunday for the 1st time. The woman who waited on me said I was really in for a treat... all I can say is she was right. The Chicken pot pie with veggies was excellent. I will be back......

The chicken pie is very bland.. not bad, just bland. The parking lot here is not that great, it's a little tight pulling in and out.

I love this place! My ONLY reason for 4 stars, is I can't afford to eat it every day. To stretch it out I will sometimes serve it over cooked rice to make more filling. YUMMY!!!! :-)

Great gravy recipe, great crust recipe, they just need to add peas!

Not bad, the crust is the best part for sure, and what I’m about to complain about is probably unheard of. Way too much chicken. I got the one with veggies in it, and it’s really not that there’s too much chicken but the fact that it’s huge chunks of it. It’s like they’re too lazy to cut it up? There’s nothing yummy about a huge bite of dry chicken breast. The sauce is pretty good, could use maybe a bit more flavor but I think just cutting up the chicken would make all the difference.

Best chicken pot pies ever. I like the all-chicken ones and make my vegetables at home, but if I'm short on time, I get the chicken and vegetables (potato and carrot) and just add green peas at home. Great for serving a large get-together, too. Amazingly, the chicken pies are dairy-free (unless baked in the store, and then they brush milk on the top). So a good choice for the dairy-allergic or lactose intolerant.

A great chicken pie for those days you do not want to cook

I was just at the store in Medford (7/10/16 around noon) and spoke to the very nice woman ( I do not recall her name) that was running the store. We chatted for a bit and I had a few questions about the pot pies and she was extremly nice and kind. Very helpful on my serving size choice and very accomidating. Store was extremly clean and organized. I can not express how helpful she was! I will definitly be going back to that store with that kind of customer service.
