Clean and intimate. The staff were friendly. Parking is paid and not the best. I got lucky. Turned into the small and narrow lot, which was full, and by the time I turned around, a spot had opened up.

The building is clean and well-kept. The staff is courteous. Those two point don't require further explanation. But what's more, the management is courageous. This point I will further explain. They were one of a handful of theaters to initially agree to screen The Interview, in the midst of all the North Korean bombast and the Sony hack and all the rest. And now a year later I see that they're screening Don Verdean, a movie that satirizes Biblical literalists. They're more likely to retaliate than North Koreans. Most media businesses, which only exist due to the 1st Amendment, fold like cheap tents at the first sign of controversy. Not so this place. I'm voting for them with my wallet every chance I get.

Time machine! Built in 1940, this first-ever Harkins still looks and feels like it must have back in the day. Plus, they show cool indie films and stuff.

Questions & Answers

First come basis

I just use a park and ride near the light rail when going to downtown tempi.

Not at midnight. The last showtimes are typically 9:30pm.

You'll probably have to watch it at home (Netflix or Redbox). I checked Harkins, AMC, Fandango, and Atom, but none of them have showtimes left for The Meg.

There is a large parking lot in front of and on the side of the theater. It's not designated however. It's also free.
