Hardy's BBQ

I come here somewhat often, but this place is constantly hit and miss and generally lets me down. Sometimes the chicken is so dry you have to dip it in water just to swallow it. I believe they often end up with a lot of leftovers that they try to sell throughout the week and then they recook it and slather it in BBQ sauce to mask how old it is. Also, this place has no flexibility. I tried to order a couple wings and a couple ribs, and they told me that it would "mess up the count" ... I know for a fact they are not going to sell out when they have 50 slabs of ribs sitting on the grill. Yet, they rather lose the sale and keep the old meat around for another day. Very sad. Usually, good bbq joints hope to sell out each day and plan accordingly. In short, come here if you want to eat reheated BBQ that might have been fresh last week.

My favorites are the pulled pork BBQ sandwich w/cole slaw and the collard greens. The family members are always gracious and friendly.

Unfailingly delicious! Great service from Hardy, and often, family members! Chicken wings, ribs, pulled pork, brisket, you name it --all highest quality! Coleslaw is great too!
